Success Is Within The Individual Mind And Expectations
Success
Success is within the individual mind and expectations. The definition of success differs from
just one person s interpretation of what success means. A large block of life is spent working to
become successful: acquiring an education, being able to take care of family, achieving a life s
ambition, or making money. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow
up and make lots of money. Everyone aspires to be successful at whatever we are doing: starting a
new business, repairing the car, writing a term paper or practicing basketball. Every bit our efforts
are directed at achieving success. Success is not the end; it is the journey we take and there is no
right or wrong idea of success.
Money is the primary concern for some people and the main ingredient for anyone who is trying to
succeed in life. For this type of person, achieving success starts with going to a good college to
compete in a competitive job market and to prepare people to take on the world. People work
hard to make money so they can satisfy their desires. People dream about owning a home and take
pride in what they possess. Some need to appear successful in order to feel successful. These
people feel accomplished when they can admire what their hard work has given them.
For some, happiness is all that matters. Happiness is achieved in many ways, and it does not
always involve money. A person can feel successful without a lot of money, at all. For example,
feeling loved is

Sorrow And Grief In Romeo And Juliet
Romeo and Juliet, one of many Shakespeare tragedy plays, reveals that Shakespeare thinks love
brings sorrow and grief. The play tells a story about two star crossed lovers named Romeo and
Juliet, who live in two different households that hate each other. Many problems arise with
Romeo and Juliet loving each other, but being enemies in nature. The story is told by many
characters, including Romeo and Juliet. Through this, Shakespeare uses dramatic irony,
repetition of epithets, and pathos to show how love brings sorrow and grief. Dramatic irony is
seen throughout the whole play many times, but one time stands out when the main character
Romeo slays Tybalt, kinsmen to the Capulets (Juliet s Family), out of sheer anger. Consequently,
Romeo was banished. Said in the play by Paris, he stated, Immoderately she weeps for Tybalt s
death, And therefore have I little talk of love (Rom.IV.i.6/7). Paris thinks that Juliet weeps for
Tybalt being slain, but instead is weeping for Romeo who was banished from Verona. Following
the banishment incident, Juliet remained in a coma like death that she put herself into not
marry Paris, but everyone thought of Juliet being dead, even Romeo. By her tomb, Romeo
spoke, Beauty s ensign yet is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks (Rom.V.iii.94/95). The coma
was to end and she was to wake any minute that Romeo went to Juliet, nevertheless Romeo didn t
know of the potion that put her in the coma. Full of grief, Romeo proceeded to kill himself even
though he noticed that Juliet looked well alive. Previously, when Romeo was banished and
Juliet in the coma, many examples of repetition of epithets happened during those scenes.
Romeo and Juliet has many characters expressing their sorrow with the repeated use of
adjectives to describe their or another s state. When Tybalt was killed, many wept for their
kinsmen including the nurse of the Capulet s. The nurse exclaims, We are undone, lady, we are
undone. Alack the day, he s gone, he s killed, he s dead (Rom.III.ii.43/44). The nurse repeatedly
states about Tybalt being killed and is dead. She is so stricken by grief that she doesn t say who
was killed and Juliet gets confused about who got killed, Tybalt, Romeo, or both. Soon after,

The Social Gospel Moverment
The Social Gospel The Social Gospel is the idea of social problems being looked and fixed with a
Christian point of view. The Gospel will always stay the same and we should refer the Social
Gospel as living out the Gospel. The goal of the Social Gospel Movement was to tie salvation and
good work together. They thought people should live the life of a JesusChrist. Classes, counseling,
job training and libraries were provided by churches to act according to the Social Gospel. The
origins and issues of the Social Gospel Movement, how the Social Gospel related to a Progressive
Era, the work of Walter Rauschenbusch, and how Social Gospel relates to the Gospel will be
covered in this essay. The Social Gospel started in the early twentieth century as an intellectual
movement. The purpose was to live out The Lord s Prayer during our day to day lives. Social
Gospel applied Christian ethics to social problems like the issues of social justice. A group of
liberal Protestant progressives started the movement because they weren t satisfied with social
problems around them and they did not feel enough was being done to solve the problems. Social
problems associated with rapid industrialization, urbanization, and increasing immigration of the
Gilded Age were the primary concern. The concept of a society that respects elements of justice is
called social justice. Social justice is usually applied to the

Frank And Mustard
Frank and Mustard gather the historical information from the sixteenth century and note that the
authorities during this period recognized that famines were man made rather than natural disasters
not because food was not available but because of the lower classes inability to obtain it or gain
access to it (p.3). The state interfered, which angered farmers, producers, and merchants and
contributed to the grievance against Charles I and the Civil War. The Tutor Stuart program of food
relief, this policy change subjected England to nearly two centuries of periodic famines, food riots
because of distribution and not production (p.4).

The decrease in mortality rates over the over the past 150 yrs. has been attributed to four factors
according to the UN report in 1953. Those factors are; 1) public health measures;2) advances in
medical knowledge and therapeutics;3) improved personal hygiene; and 4) improved standard of
living (p.5). Mckeown and Brown s attempts at understanding why health improved, explored
factors which influenced the major decline in mortality rates in the United Kingdom after 1840
(p.5). They cited a large decline in mortality from airborne diseases, water and sanitation systems
in the 1800 s and finally concluded that the decrease in mortality was due to improved prosperity
and nutrition (p.5). These factors are discussed in modern times as Dr. Steven Woolf gave his
testimony to the U.S. Senate in 2013, that as an example, 68% of American adults have income that
is more than twice the poverty level. Suppose we boosted that number just slightly, from 68% to
70% and looked at the impact on one disease diabetes. That higher income would mean about 400
million fewer cases of diabetes saving $2 billion per year to treat that disease (p.1). Increasing
income contributes to lower health issues and chronic disease. The applied simplistic equation of
increased income decreased health issues is phenomenal, but why are we a society in which
inequalities in health still

What Are The Ethical Ethics Of Nike
Introduction
When growing an enterprise that you wish to compete on a global market, what needs to be
taken into consideration is scaling. Most importantly for investors, what will it cost to expand
this company and offer their products on a global scale? This is what Nike faced in the 1980 s
when they expanded by outsourcing their production Asia, 86% of their production housed
primarily in Korea and Taiwan by 1986, (Locke, 2002) with only 17% remaining in the US by
the end of the 1990 s. By manufacturing off shores in low wage countries, Nike garnered the
nickname Sweat Shop as most people in the 1990 s believed their practices to be unethical. For the

Epidemiology Of Obesity
Obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide and its prevalence is increasing at an
alarming rate (Barness et al, 2007). For thousands of years obesity was rarely seen, it was not until
the 20th century that it became common, some much so that in 1997, the World Health
Organization (WHO) formally recognized obesity as a global epidemic (Caballero, 2007).
Overweight and obesity now affects at least 1.7 billion people. With the largest proportion in
developing countries: In 2010, almost 2 billion people of the world s population are overweight
(BMI between 25 and 29.9 kg/m2) and more than half a billion are obese (BMI 30 kg/m2). Using
standard international criteria by 2015, the figure will be nearer 2.3 billion overweight and ... Show

The increased prevalence of obesity among high income groups in nonindusrialized countries may
have changed as non indusrialized countries become more affluent and obesity becomes more
prevalent in individuals who have low socioeconomic status (Monteiro et al., 2004).
Egypt studied the prevelance of obesity and overweight among their populations and results were
annoying. Salem et al. (2002) found that the prevalence of obesity among Egyptian children was
14.7% and 15.08% for male and female respectively.
In United States of America (USA), the prevalence of obesity was 10% among children 2 to 5
years of age and 15% among adolescents. When children at risk for obesity (overweight) were
included, the values increased to 20% and 30%, respectively. Therefore, 1 of every 4 patients
examined by pediatricians either is obese or is considered to be at high risk for developing this
challenging health problem (Ogden et al.,

Peace, serenity, consciousness, and enlightenment; these four qualities are strived for
throughout our stressful daily lives. They can be found in passing moments, but for me, it is

In todays world, it is so important to be able to judge the right form the wrong. All eyes are on us

their have been so many actions that are terrible. They range from sexual assault to an actual
assault with a deadly weapon. I am not going to state who was involved, but most of these people

There is something greater waiting for us at the end of our journey. We just need to stay patient

Hume related his philosophy to the game of Baseball. In the game of baseball huge and important
aspects of the game like hitting the ball or touching each base to ensure that you are safe seem
so arbitrary when you compare it to life. Touching a base is so simple and when you are not
actually playing baseball, is so irrelevant. This is one of Hume s very important lessons, we need
to care and act on the things we find boring or do not want to do. If we can do the things that we do

Power training involves applying a force at the greatest speed possible (Power = force x velocity).
Jumping is a powerful movement and it must be trained using exercises which require a high
power output. In a previous article, I had described the importance of strength in vertical jump
training development. A well developed strength program supplies the necessary force application
in the power equation. Now it is time to discuss how to apply velocity to the power equation.
Performing movements at a high velocity is the goal when designing power based exercises along
with a second goal of focusing on maximum effort with each repetition. There are two major types
of power exercises, those which involve more than body weight resistance and those utilizing only
body weight. This article will discuss the application of performing power exercises which
incorporate an added resistance through weight training. Power resistance exercises can fall into
several categories:
1) weightlifting exercises with a low to moderate percentage

Adolf Hitler And His Nazi Party
Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party are key in the story of the modern Jewish plight within central
Europe. Despite a vast number of the laws passed within Nazi Germany and then Nazi occupied
Europe being applicable to the Jewry of Germany, and Europe it is clear that it was not
exclusively for the Jews and the effect of this was not worse for one or another. However, this
essay endeavours to discuss the main characteristics of the Nazi policies on the Jewish
population and it is easy to see that the main characteristic was exclusion aided by terror, which
only appeared to brew with the well established feelings of anti Semitism and become
increasingly more extreme. However it is important to acknowledge the debate around the subject,
as suggested by Wildt it is important to not willingly accept and adopt the school of thought as a
clear cut unfolding of Nazi policy, where he suggests that anti Semitism has been a part of
Germanic life for centuries and not a product of the regime. Before going into the characteristics of
the policies of the Nazi partyit is important to understand about the origins of the party itself and
therefore the origins of the party s anti Semitic nature. The National Socialist German Workers
Party commonly known in English as the Nazi Party was a political party in Germany active
between 1920 and 1945. The party grew from the German Nationalist, racist and populist anti
communist paramilitary culture which fought against the communist uprisings

Aggression In The Homecoming
In their verbal aggressions, Pinter s characters target the others based on their weaknesses and
insecurities. In The Homecoming, Max s verbal attacks on his brother are centered on his
impotence. For instance, here is an illustration of Max s mockery and sarcasm: It s funny you
never got married...A man with all your gifts. (The Homecoming, p. 14) Later, Max addresses a
torrent of insults such as old grub , maggot , and bitch to his brother. Similarly, in The Room,
Rose attacks the intruder, the old Negro, at first sight. She has no reverence for his old age and
no consideration for his disability: You re a blind man. An old poor blind man...They say I know
you. That s an insult...You re not only a nut, you re a blind nut... (The Room, pp. 27 30) In fact,
insults are part of Pinter s language. His characters offend and hurt one another easily,
unscrupulously and, quite often, without any obvious reason. Their usual conversations are
characterized by insolence, gross insensitivity, mockery and the use of rude expressions. Before
concluding the analysis of the violence of language in Pinter s drama, it is worth mentioning that
this form of aggression is also present in Pinter s recent works such as Party Time, Mountain...

Unsurprisingly, characters go wild and transgress all moral codes to satisfy their sexual fantasies
and appetites. On the one hand, Lenny is proud of the cruel stories he narrates in order to impress
Ruth. Max, on the other hand, indulges into insulting her at first sight. Even Ruth joins the game
when she verbally owns Lenny: If you take the glass...I ll take you. (The Homecoming, p.34) To
put it another way, characters harbor a sexual desire which they strive hard to satisfy. In the
universe of the play, there are many sexual games accompanied with violence and falsehood; yet,
the aim is almost the same: to impress or intimidate

Why Was Hitchcock Considered An Auteur
Every film that is made has a collective group of people who lend their vision to a film. The term
auteur theory, originating in France in the 1950 s, is a French word that means author and in the
world of cinema that would mean the director is the one who is the major creative force behind the
film. As stated in the article The Auteur Theory, the term author carries another association namely,
the idea of a lone, individual creator. With the word auteur being involved it means that the director
is not only the one in charge of directing the film, he would have say or input of other mediums
like for instance a painter or a writer. They are rebels against a collective group effort and instead
go rogue in making decisions on their own disregarding input from the team and most importantly
the studio backing the film. The directors choice to take on full ownership of films leaves... Show

I had seen his version of Psycho and really loved it. Watching Shadow of a Doubt, it proved why
Hitchcock is considered an auteur in many ways. While the term was coming into play,
Hitchcock had a unique vision in his films that differentiated with other filmmakers. He is a
superb master of building suspense and mystery, keeping the audience s nerves always on high
alert. His cinematic technique exemplified camera viewpoints, editing, suspense building. His
shot of facial expressions in the film is startling especially in Shadow of a Doubt because it
showed changes in personality in an instance. When you have films that have strong structure and
shows that he is the one who has complete control over the films he makes. This is his way of
making all his films his, putting a stamp on them. I think what separates him from others is the fact
that he had cameo appearances where he can have his image promoted in his own way. It s like an
artist putting their signature on a painting. Thus making it their own work of

Bumper Sticker Research Paper
You ve just purchased a used car and the previous owner had decorated the rear bumper with not
one, not two, but a half dozen or more bumper stickers. Those stickers are unsightly and,
moreover, they don t reflect your viewpoint on life. Removing stickers from your car has become
a top priority for you. Here s how to remove them when they re affixed to the bumper, on glass, or
are covering some other surface.
How to Remove Bumper Stickers
If you are lucky, removing stickers from your car should be an easy process. Simply begin peeling
back a corner until the bumper sticker begins to detach. Work on all four corners and you may have
that sticker off within minutes.
Unfortunately, most bumper stickers will not be so easily removed. The ravages of sun, air, dirt,

method and is preferable if you don t want to deal with hot water. Here, you will either spray
vinegar directly on the bumper sticker or soak a cloth in vinegar and apply it to the sticker. Wait
five minutes and the sticker should be ready for removal.

There are many different medicines that can be used to treat colitis and it all depends on the
patient s condition. For some, simply just changing their diet can decrease the severity of colitis.
Others require surgery to fix their condition. First doctors have to diagnose the disease. Colitis
can be diagnosed in various ways. This includes laboratory tests, endoscopy, and/or barium enema
x ray. Also it can be diagnosed based on medical history, physical examination, or a biopsy of the
colon tissue. The most common ways are blood tests, stool samples, CT scans, colonoscopy,
sigmoidoscopy, and pill camera (WebMD 1). Your doctor may order one or more of these tests to
distinguish that you have colitis. Once it is determined that one has colitis the various treatment
options are put into effect. First drug therapy is used to try and lessen symptoms or put patients into
remission, a period of time where the patient experiences no pain and temporarily feels normal
again. The four main types of drugs used for treating colitis are aminosalicylates, corticosteroids,
immunosuppressants, and biologic agents (Cleveland Clinic 2). Aminosalicylates main purpose is
to reduce inflammation and prevent relapses and keep people in remission. The standard
aminosalicylates drug is sulfasalazine. This drug combines the 5 ASA drug mesalamine with

Pre 18th Century Attitudes to Slavery Like other people of the time, Europeans believed that the
enslavement of another person was justifiable as long as a reasonable explanation could have
being given for the enslavement. In Africa itself, slavery was acceptable and people were taken
as slaves in three ways: as prisoners in war, as a punishment for a crime and as a payment for debt.
An English philosopher, John Locke stated that slavery is only justifiable when a person was then
taken captive as a prisoner of war e.g.: in crusades. The Spanish questioned whether slavery was
right but they still practiced it. They argued that slavery although wrong was necessary in order to

However, in the 18th century they began focusing on resisting the Abolition Movement in
Parliament. In 1766, they were only made up of 40 members in the House of Lords but by 1780
they had 50 members. In order to delay emancipation, the parliamentary members of the WII
enacted 2 laws: Amelioration proposals and Apprenticeship system. These policies however failed
largely due to the fact that more abolitionists were becoming MP s; particularly in the House of

were still able to delay emancipation for 50 years and to gain 20,000,000 in compensation for the

Summary Of Dusting By Julia Alvarez
Children tend to dream. Whether dreaming to fly to the moon, or being heroes, kids are always
dreaming. The poem Dusting , by Julia Alvarez embodies a young girls desire to dream. The young
narrator in Dusting believes that her mother had achieved as much as anyone else but that her
mother s achievements are almost unrecognized by her. The young girl cannot stand the thought of
ending up like her mother, so day after day, she continues to leave her mark within the dust. The
word dusting, means to remove the dust from the surface of something by wiping or brushing it.

Analysis Of The Lynching Of Emmett Till
The documentary, narrative The Lynching of Emmett Till by Christopher Metress, tells Emmett s
story of death through various points of view. On August 24, 1955, Emmett Till, a fourteen year
old African American boy from Chicago, entered a rural grocery store of Money, Mississippi.
Because the young child had been gloating about his bond with white peopleup north, his southern
cousins had dared him to go into the store and say something to the women working the register.
Emmett accepted their challenge; seconds later he was at the counter, set on purchasing two items.
What he did or said next will never be known for sure, but whatever passed between these two
strangers from two different worlds set off a chain reaction that would forever... Show more content

Additionally, the subject of this novel is stated through various viewpoints of information and is
understood by all audiences. In addition, the mood of the story is mysterious, unsettling, and
chilling. In particular, when the author describes the murder of Emmett that is enough visualization
to send chills down the reader s spine. Also, the tone of the author throughout the novel is solemn
and gloomy. Lastly, not only is the novel informant: it s also educational at the same time.
In conclusion, Emmett Till was a young boy who was born in a time that was rough for African
Americans. Also, Christopher Metress is a published author and college professor whose ideas are
linked with readers, worldwide. Sixty years later, at a time when race relations are once more at
the front of the American mind, Till s name is still adducing as a reminder of the worst
consequences of ignoring the problem. Accidentally, his story has inspired a regeneration of
historians and scholars. Everyone has the right to have happiness in life and should not be
oppressed by discrimination.
In the year 1955, white men in the Mississippi Delta lynched a fourteen year old from Chicago

William Wordsworth s Analysis Of I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud
The poem was written in the year 1802. It was first published in Poems in Two Volumes, in
1807. The very starting line of the poem I wandered lonely as a cloud informs the poet s
profound sentiments of being left alone. It was actually the death of his brother John that led him
to loneliness . We should remind the readers that this poem was not a result of imagination.
Dorothy, Wordsworth s sister provides us an explanation of the occasion which inspired
Wordsworth to produce this masterpiece:
When we were in the woods beyond Gowbarrow Park, we saw a few daffodils close to
waterside. Thus the poem is a result of actual visualization rather than imagery .
In English literature, Wordsworth and his friend, Samuel Taylor Coleridge,... Show more content on

Setting of the Poem:
Wordsworth may be at discomfort in human multitude but not amidst the objects (crowd) of
Nature. Nature permeates the entire poem. Phrases like a crowd, a host, continuous as the stars,
they stretched in never ending lines, ten thousands saw eye at a glance presents deep
implications. The poet says: I wondered lonely as a cloud that floats on the high o er Wales and
hills. Daffodils, an everyday found flower has been portrayed in magical verses and blended with
transcendental romanticism. Even the daffodils outdid the sparkling waves in glee and left an
everlasting mark in the mind of the readers of this poem.

I wandered lonely as a Cloud is a poem that just makes you feels good about life. It says that
even when you are by yourself and lonely and missing your friends, you can use your

Wordsworth is the granddaddy of all nature poets and he is in top form in I wandered lonely as

The Advantages And Dilemmas Of Child Care For Children
Tamai Butler
Coach Beale
Senior Capstone
March , 9 , 2018 One of the biggest decisions parents have to make after choosing to have a child
involves deciding who will care for that child, especially during the early developmental years.
Parents choose to resolve this difficult dilemma in many ways. Some families choose to use full
time childcare, while in other families one parent stays or works at home for all or part of the
time. In other families, a parent chooses to leave the workforce completely in order to become the
primary caregiver. Finding appropriate and affordable child care is often a challenge. There are
different options available in different places, and at many different price points although all
options are expensive. Each care option comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. It can be

into a role which involved caring for children, I get huge satisfaction from working with people

children, there are other important aspects involved in my career path. It is not just
communicating well with children that is a vital skill but also how you communicate with the
people that are most important to that child. As a nanny you learn skills which enable you to help
children to develop into happy, healthy little people. To be able to show parents how to develop

Unknown Permanganate Solution Lab Report
In this experiment, the concentration of an unknown permanganate solution will be determined.
Spectroscopic techniques will be used to measure various known concentrations of permanganate
solutions to create a calibration curve for the absorbance of light vs. the concentration and will be
used to determine the unknown concentration1.
Introduction
In order to perform this experiment, proficiency with using spectrometers, burettes, volumetric
flasks, weighing by difference, and making a hot water bath are essential1.
By using a spectrometer s function to analyze the absorbance of light of each of the known
solutions, the resulting linear correlation will provide an equation similar to the Beer s Law

Prejudice Research Paper
Prejudice Paper
Today we still see prejudice every day and sometimes it is often overlooked. Fortunately, this is
something we have gotten better at but there is still work to be done. It is important to know what
defines prejudice and understand how to be self aware. Developing good strategies to overcome
prejudice is also important in order to better understand this topic. We should understand why
people hold prejudice and how it affects people.
Prejudice, is a judgement based on the assumption that we already have all the information we need
to know about a person. (Steven A. Beebe) Antisemitismduring modern times is one of the most
severe examples of prejudice throughout history. This prejudice towards the Jewish people during
1933 1945 is considered to be one of the worst atrocities ever.

One way an individual can prevent prejudice is through self awareness and educating themselves
on how and why prejudice happens. Understanding the history of prejudice is also important in
prevention. If an individual finds themselves a victim of prejudice, they should not be quiet about it
and should know it is not acceptable to be treated this way.
Although prejudice is still very much alive in our society and all types of people experience
prejudice due to many reasons. Today It has become less acceptable though because of the
understanding of what it is and with the correct awareness it should continue to get better.
Understanding what defines prejudice and the type of steps that we can use are going to be
needed. Knowing why it happens is just an important to preventing prejudice as well. Lastly I
hope we never have to see extreme forms of prejudice like antisemitism again as we should learn

So as the New Poor Law states people were extremely cruel and discriminated the undeserving
poor they said it was god who decided if you were poor or not even though the church did try to
help. For example the hymn all things bright and beautiful, includes the lines The rich man at his
castle, the poor man at his gate, God made them high or lowly, and ordered their estate . However
most people felt pity on the deserving poor an example of this was rich women that used to make
themselves look generous, in front of their rich women friends, these were the types of people that
Andrew Reid was particularly interested in and that was because they were the people that donated
the most money.
Andrew Reid put together many Asylum meetings where he would do speeches to rich people
and make them feel for the poor. An example of his speeches was one he done on the 3rd of July,
1927 at the London Tavern Let it be remembered that the case is for the infant orphan for which
charity has a yet done nothing; yet this case embraces a period of life in which innocence,
helplessness and misery are strangely commingled and most touchingly call for our aid . This
speech was truly inspirational to many people and was used just before the people choose who
they wanted to vote for using the voting system (explained in paragraph 6). Also he was respected

Engine Removal Research Paper
The removal of a internally damaged engine from your personal car or truck may seem like a
daunting task, but in reality, with the proper tools, equipment, and work space, it can be done
within a 6 hour time frame. Having the proper space to pull the motor is the number one key to
the engine removal. There will be components of the motor that will have to be disassembled at
certain periods during the removal process and if there is no space to lay the parts, then where are
you going to put the motor? The proper tools and equipment is another major concern of an engine
removal. Not all the bolts and nuts that hold the motor and its components together are not always
the same size, and sometimes certain bolts and nuts are in tight spaces so only certain sized
ratchets or wrenches will fit to loosen them. Also, there are specialty tools for loosening... Show

Usually 2 separate pans are needed. One is for oils, such as motor oil and power steering fluid,
and the other is for antifreeze. If the antifreeze fluid is relatively new, it can be saved and reused.
The oil on the other hand should not be reused because if the engine is internally damaged, there
may be small bits of metal in the oil that cannot be seen as well as sludge that can build up
making a motor work harder. Normally the oil filter is left on to keep oil from dripping. Once
all the oil and antifreeze are drained, replace the plugs and tighten. Also, if the vehicle has a
working air conditioner system, a recovery machine is needed to recycle the Freon out of the
system. The system is under high pressure and Freon depletes the ozone layer, so only a certified
technician can handle Freon. Even if your AC compressor is locked up, the system may still have
Freon still in its lines. If you are planning an engine swap, it is best to have a local auto shop
recover your Freon for you before starting the engine removal

Driverless Cars Are Better
Driverless cars are safer than manual cars in many ways. I will explain why they are safer. The
first reason why is because of safety. Examples of this car having a lot of safety is that it
accelerates and stops more sharply, it prevents car accidents, and that it tells you where it needs
to go. What s useful about the acceleration and brakes is that they work really well. What s useful
about it preventing car accidents is that you wouldn t have to worry about getting hurt or killed.
What s useful about the radar that tells you where you need to go is that you can just sit and
enjoy the drive. The second reason why is because it is a lot easier. Examples of this car being a lot

Furthermore, the author reveals through Shukhov s actions the determination that mankind
experienced in the gulags. Shukhov takes a job, which could normally be considered a gruelling
task, and turns it into an act of fortitude. As the sole thing he sees is the wall in front of him (97)
and he shouts to not give up yet, boys! (109), he strongly exemplifies the perseverance of the
prisoners. The task that he is given should dishearten him but instead, boosts his morale and thus,

health care facilities that use IT to improve their capabilities for service innovation and service
quality have the potential to enhance their organizations strategic and operational performance

The strict regulations for foreign VCs such as a minimum required investment of USD 1 million
and the minimum number of employees to hire are the fixed costs to the foreign VCs investment
in Korean startups and SMEs, he said. Mr. Lim contended that venture capital investment
regulations must be eased not only to attract foreign venture capitalists but also to provide startups
and VCs a more convenient platform for exits through initial public offerings (IPOs) or merge and
acquisitions (M As). Furthermore, Mr. Lim observed that excessive regulations in other areas also
prevent a robust growth of startup ecosystems. Specifically, the government s positive list approach
to regulations preventing new services such as peer to peer (P2P) lending and Uber must be
changed into a negative list approach.
Controversial Roles of Chaebols in Building the ROK s Startup Ecosystem
9. (U) Above all, the strongest criticism against the Park administration s Creative Economy policy
is the CCEIs dependence on chaebols for incubating startups and SMEs. The structure of CCEIs
under which startups and SMEs must rely on the conglomerates for purchase of technologies,
equity investment and marketing has drawn criticisms from both academia and political circles.
The critics argue that the CCEIs have made startups and SMEs vulnerable to the conglomerates
stealing of their intellectual property (IP) and forced them

Damning Of The Masses Essay
Damning of the Masses
That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.
Romans 10: 9
From the time we are small children sitting in Sunday school not able to fully grasp the love of God
that we sing simple songs about, we are taught that Jesus was sent to earth to love us no matter
what. The Puritan congregation listening to Jonathan Edwards sermon Sinners in the Hands of an

love God as he loves us.
Edwards also fails to emphasize a major thematic concept of the Bible love. The word love is used
in 539 verses of the Bible. In this sermon it is used only four times. Only two of those times
directly refer to Christ s love for us. Edwards seems to have shaded this crucial aspect of salvation.
In the very small section of Edwards sermon that he gives his listeners a way out of being
dropped like a spider into the fiery lake, he fails to give their terror release, still making his
message into a threat. Jesus never threatened. God never finds pleasure in the damning of men s
souls. The Lord wishes only for us to be with him.
I agree with Edwards that if we do not come to Christ and obey His commands that we will spend
eternity in hell, but I also believe that our God is a god of infinite grace and love. This is
something Edwards seems not to have felt or appears to have interpreted in a way that makes
God into a spiteful, jealous god waiting to crush us at any moment. If only Edwards would have
realized how crucial Christ s message of love was to the salvation of his congregation. His powerful
invitation of deliverance would have given people hope and a more

inside the prisons and for those who are being effected by second hand smoking. Therefore the
government has a huge interest to forbid using of tobacco inside the prisons. Second, in pursuing
this governmental interest, the South Dakota Department of Correction (SDDOC) took several
measures to prevent such security and order issues and to eliminate the negative effects of using
tobacco inside the facilities, but each time, the inmates still extract the tobacco from the mixture

Their Eyes Were Watching God Women
In the past, women have been sentenced to a life of silence and obedience, but resilient in their
efforts to find equality. Once they saw how unequal they were to their male counterparts, they were
so unwavering in their attempts that everyone had no choice but to acknowledge women s
mistreatment. Janie Crawford, from Zora Hurston s Their Eyes were Watching God, is a prime
example of how women actively began to start seeing themselves as independent and changing
the way society sees them. Janie is brought up to view women and herself to be lesser than men
but when she grows older and is able to decide things for herself, she sees how unfair and wrong
that is. It may take her a while before she able able to fully free herself, but she knows... Show more

As a whole, most of the female characters are shown to be cruel and obsessed with gossip. This
particular example is demonstrated early in the novel when Janie is first coming back to Eatonville
and the women chewed up the back parts of their minds and swallowed with relish. They made
burning statements with questions, and killing tools out of laughs (Hurston 2). This scene exposes
the bitter truth that women are quick to turn against each other every opportunity they get. It clearly
establishes the jealously and spite that fuel women to treat each other so awfully. There is an
unmistakable disconnection between the novel s protagonists and the other women for not only the
hatred they feel towards janie, but also their lack of independence and simplicity. The women in
this novel, including Janie, are not valued in society but Janie appears to the one of the few to try
and overcome barrier. Mary Helen Washington, in her contribution to Zora Neale Hurstons Their
Eyes were Watching God, supports the notion that these female characters are denied the right to
participate in society. On multiple occasions the women are confined and silence not only by
their husbands, but also by the world they are subjected to. She writes about how the women in
the novel were never able to talk, or at least be listened too. Janie was included in these women,
but is soon able to find her voice. While most of the female characters depicted in the novel are
judgmental and one sided, they also act as components to add to Janie s struggle for

THE ULTIMATE GARLIC SUPPLEMENT ALLICIN
The chemistry of garlic is extremely complex, but research has shown that it is the unusual organ
sulfur compounds relatively unique to garlic that promote its broad range of lipid lowering,
antithrombotic, anti blood coagulation, anti hypertension, anti cancer, anti oxidant and anti
microbial effect. The most well known and widely studied garlic compound is allicin , yet
ironically allicin does not exist in fresh, undamaged garlic cloves. The predominant garlic sulfur
compound is Alliin. Garlic also contains high levels of an enzyme called allinase. Cavallito and
Bailey first reported in 1944 that allicin is the garlic compound chiefly responsible for the broad
spectrum anti bacterial action of garlic. They noted that various actions of garlic, such as its
cholesterol lowering and anti bacterial effect are primarily due to its allicin content.
ALLIIN
Alliin is a sulfoxide that is a natural constituent of fresh garlic. It is a derivative of the amino
acid cysteins. When fresh garlic is chopped or crushed, the enzyme allinase converts alliin into
allicin which is primarily responsible for the aroma of fresh garlic. Garlic has been used since
antiquity as a therapeutic remedy for a certain conditions now associated w/ oxygen toxicity, and
when this was investigated, garlic did indeed show strong anti oxidant and hydroxyladical
scavenging properties, possibly owing to the alliin

  • 2. Success Is Within The Individual Mind And Expectations Success Success is within the individual mind and expectations. The definition of success differs from just one person s interpretation of what success means. A large block of life is spent working to become successful: acquiring an education, being able to take care of family, achieving a life s ambition, or making money. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. Everyone aspires to be successful at whatever we are doing: starting a new business, repairing the car, writing a term paper or practicing basketball. Every bit our efforts are directed at achieving success. Success is not the end; it is the journey we take and there is no right or wrong idea of success. Money is the primary concern for some people and the main ingredient for anyone who is trying to succeed in life. For this type of person, achieving success starts with going to a good college to compete in a competitive job market and to prepare people to take on the world. People work hard to make money so they can satisfy their desires. People dream about owning a home and take pride in what they possess. Some need to appear successful in order to feel successful. These people feel accomplished when they can admire what their hard work has given them. For some, happiness is all that matters. Happiness is achieved in many ways, and it does not always involve money. A person can feel successful without a lot of money, at all. For example, feeling loved is ... • 3. Sorrow And Grief In Romeo And Juliet Romeo and Juliet, one of many Shakespeare tragedy plays, reveals that Shakespeare thinks love brings sorrow and grief. The play tells a story about two star crossed lovers named Romeo and Juliet, who live in two different households that hate each other. Many problems arise with Romeo and Juliet loving each other, but being enemies in nature. The story is told by many characters, including Romeo and Juliet. Through this, Shakespeare uses dramatic irony, repetition of epithets, and pathos to show how love brings sorrow and grief. Dramatic irony is seen throughout the whole play many times, but one time stands out when the main character Romeo slays Tybalt, kinsmen to the Capulets (Juliet s Family), out of sheer anger. Consequently, Romeo was banished. Said in the play by Paris, he stated, Immoderately she weeps for Tybalt s death, And therefore have I little talk of love (Rom.IV.i.6/7). Paris thinks that Juliet weeps for Tybalt being slain, but instead is weeping for Romeo who was banished from Verona. Following the banishment incident, Juliet remained in a coma like death that she put herself into not marry Paris, but everyone thought of Juliet being dead, even Romeo. By her tomb, Romeo spoke, Beauty s ensign yet is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks (Rom.V.iii.94/95). The coma was to end and she was to wake any minute that Romeo went to Juliet, nevertheless Romeo didn t know of the potion that put her in the coma. Full of grief, Romeo proceeded to kill himself even though he noticed that Juliet looked well alive. Previously, when Romeo was banished and Juliet in the coma, many examples of repetition of epithets happened during those scenes. Romeo and Juliet has many characters expressing their sorrow with the repeated use of adjectives to describe their or another s state. When Tybalt was killed, many wept for their kinsmen including the nurse of the Capulet s. The nurse exclaims, We are undone, lady, we are undone. Alack the day, he s gone, he s killed, he s dead (Rom.III.ii.43/44). The nurse repeatedly states about Tybalt being killed and is dead. She is so stricken by grief that she doesn t say who was killed and Juliet gets confused about who got killed, Tybalt, Romeo, or both. Soon after, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. The Social Gospel Moverment The Social Gospel The Social Gospel is the idea of social problems being looked and fixed with a Christian point of view. The Gospel will always stay the same and we should refer the Social Gospel as living out the Gospel. The goal of the Social Gospel Movement was to tie salvation and good work together. They thought people should live the life of a JesusChrist. Classes, counseling, job training and libraries were provided by churches to act according to the Social Gospel. The origins and issues of the Social Gospel Movement, how the Social Gospel related to a Progressive Era, the work of Walter Rauschenbusch, and how Social Gospel relates to the Gospel will be covered in this essay. The Social Gospel started in the early twentieth century as an intellectual movement. The purpose was to live out The Lord s Prayer during our day to day lives. Social Gospel applied Christian ethics to social problems like the issues of social justice. A group of liberal Protestant progressives started the movement because they weren t satisfied with social problems around them and they did not feel enough was being done to solve the problems. Social problems associated with rapid industrialization, urbanization, and increasing immigration of the Gilded Age were the primary concern. The concept of a society that respects elements of justice is called social justice. Social justice is usually applied to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Frank And Mustard Frank and Mustard gather the historical information from the sixteenth century and note that the authorities during this period recognized that famines were man made rather than natural disasters not because food was not available but because of the lower classes inability to obtain it or gain access to it (p.3). The state interfered, which angered farmers, producers, and merchants and contributed to the grievance against Charles I and the Civil War. The Tutor Stuart program of food relief, this policy change subjected England to nearly two centuries of periodic famines, food riots because of distribution and not production (p.4). The decrease in mortality rates over the over the past 150 yrs. has been attributed to four factors according to the UN report in 1953. Those factors are; 1) public health measures;2) advances in medical knowledge and therapeutics;3) improved personal hygiene; and 4) improved standard of living (p.5). Mckeown and Brown s attempts at understanding why health improved, explored factors which influenced the major decline in mortality rates in the United Kingdom after 1840 (p.5). They cited a large decline in mortality from airborne diseases, water and sanitation systems in the 1800 s and finally concluded that the decrease in mortality was due to improved prosperity and nutrition (p.5). These factors are discussed in modern times as Dr. Steven Woolf gave his testimony to the U.S. Senate in 2013, that as an example, 68% of American adults have income that is more than twice the poverty level. Suppose we boosted that number just slightly, from 68% to 70% and looked at the impact on one disease diabetes. That higher income would mean about 400 million fewer cases of diabetes saving $2 billion per year to treat that disease (p.1). Increasing income contributes to lower health issues and chronic disease. The applied simplistic equation of increased income decreased health issues is phenomenal, but why are we a society in which inequalities in health still ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Jumping is a powerful movement and it must be trained using exercises which require a high power output. In a previous article, I had described the importance of strength in vertical jump training development. A well developed strength program supplies the necessary force application in the power equation. Now it is time to discuss how to apply velocity to the power equation. Performing movements at a high velocity is the goal when designing power based exercises along with a second goal of focusing on maximum effort with each repetition. There are two major types of power exercises, those which involve more than body weight resistance and those utilizing only body weight. This article will discuss the application of performing power exercises which incorporate an added resistance through weight training. Power resistance exercises can fall into several categories: 1) weightlifting exercises with a low to moderate percentage ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. Adolf Hitler And His Nazi Party Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party are key in the story of the modern Jewish plight within central Europe. Despite a vast number of the laws passed within Nazi Germany and then Nazi occupied Europe being applicable to the Jewry of Germany, and Europe it is clear that it was not exclusively for the Jews and the effect of this was not worse for one or another. However, this essay endeavours to discuss the main characteristics of the Nazi policies on the Jewish population and it is easy to see that the main characteristic was exclusion aided by terror, which only appeared to brew with the well established feelings of anti Semitism and become increasingly more extreme. However it is important to acknowledge the debate around the subject, as suggested by Wildt it is important to not willingly accept and adopt the school of thought as a clear cut unfolding of Nazi policy, where he suggests that anti Semitism has been a part of Germanic life for centuries and not a product of the regime. Before going into the characteristics of the policies of the Nazi partyit is important to understand about the origins of the party itself and therefore the origins of the party s anti Semitic nature. The National Socialist German Workers Party commonly known in English as the Nazi Party was a political party in Germany active between 1920 and 1945. The party grew from the German Nationalist, racist and populist anti communist paramilitary culture which fought against the communist uprisings ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. Aggression In The Homecoming In their verbal aggressions, Pinter s characters target the others based on their weaknesses and insecurities. In The Homecoming, Max s verbal attacks on his brother are centered on his impotence. (The Homecoming, p. 14) Later, Max addresses a torrent of insults such as old grub , maggot , and bitch to his brother. Similarly, in The Room, Rose attacks the intruder, the old Negro, at first sight. She has no reverence for his old age and no consideration for his disability: You re a blind man. An old poor blind man...They say I know you. That s an insult...You re not only a nut, you re a blind nut... (The Room, pp. 27 30) In fact, insults are part of Pinter s language. His characters offend and hurt one another easily, unscrupulously and, quite often, without any obvious reason. Their usual conversations are characterized by insolence, gross insensitivity, mockery and the use of rude expressions. Before concluding the analysis of the violence of language in Pinter s drama, it is worth mentioning that this form of aggression is also present in Pinter s recent works such as Party Time, Mountain... The term auteur theory, originating in France in the 1950 s, is a French word that means author and in the world of cinema that would mean the director is the one who is the major creative force behind the film. As stated in the article The Auteur Theory, the term author carries another association namely, the idea of a lone, individual creator. With the word auteur being involved it means that the director is not only the one in charge of directing the film, he would have say or input of other mediums like for instance a painter or a writer. Staying faithful to his religion gives him the strength he requires in order to focus on the positive outcomes of the gulags. Contrary to popular opinion, the author uses Alyoshka s dialogue to exhibit the positivity as he says to [b]e glad [they are] in prison so that they have time to think about [their] soul[s] (177). He regards his imprisonment as a time to reflect upon his spirit and the kind of person he is which is a true accomplishment of the human spirit in the calamity of a gulag. Further, the author uses his actions to display his steadfast nature that causes him to be of tremendous help to his gang. His want to be helpful is glaringly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

An example would be to reexamine the EHR program that is being utilized periodically to determine if an upgrade or new program would be more beneficial for the employees and patients. There are numerous EHR programs that are being developed and/or constantly undergoing improvements. Although a program is effective for the facility and patients, it does not signify that it is providing the best quality of care. Lastly, health care facilities that use IT to improve their capabilities for service innovation and service quality have the potential to enhance their organizations strategic and operational performance (Thambusamy Palvia, 2011, p. 17). Edwards seems to have shaded this crucial aspect of salvation. In the very small section of Edwards sermon that he gives his listeners a way out of being dropped like a spider into the fiery lake, he fails to give their terror release, still making his message into a threat. Jesus never threatened. God never finds pleasure in the damning of men s souls. The Lord wishes only for us to be with him. I agree with Edwards that if we do not come to Christ and obey His commands that we will spend eternity in hell, but I also believe that our God is a god of infinite grace and love. This is something Edwards seems not to have felt or appears to have interpreted in a way that makes God into a spiteful, jealous god waiting to crush us at any moment. The most well known and widely studied garlic compound is allicin , yet ironically allicin does not exist in fresh, undamaged garlic cloves. The predominant garlic sulfur compound is Alliin. Cavallito and Bailey first reported in 1944 that allicin is the garlic compound chiefly responsible for the broad spectrum anti bacterial action of garlic. They noted that various actions of garlic, such as its cholesterol lowering and anti bacterial effect are primarily due to its allicin content. ALLIIN Alliin is a sulfoxide that is a natural constituent of fresh garlic. It is a derivative of the amino acid cysteins. When fresh garlic is chopped or crushed, the enzyme allinase converts alliin into allicin which is primarily responsible for the aroma of fresh garlic.
