15. o Mandela's major goal was to dismantle decades of racism
and white supremacy in hopes of driving South Africa
towards justice, healing, and reconciliation.
o Despite being less-known compared to his other initiatives
and lifetime achievements, Mandela and
Tambo represented and fought for the black population,
ensuring fair and just treatment for all under the law.
o This was significant given a major issue at the time was racism
and prejudice that led to unfair treatment under the law.

undoubtably prove Mandela is a leader.
o Mandela's portrayal in media was beneficial. Mandela
and the large population of black individuals who

hoping Mandela's initiatives would gain traction.
o Mandela, a born leader, is accurately depicted by the
media as such which reinforces traits theory.
o The media played a significant role in facilitating the
change Mandela wanted to see in society.
