Between the start of the COVID-19 crisis and March 31, 2021, EUR 70,253,602 was donated to combat the pandemic in the Western Balkans. Most support in Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and North Macedonia went to local and national governments, whereas in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, institutions received the most aid, and in Kosovo, individuals and families were the primary recipients.
