Amy wants to create a bot that sends notifications to Slack when her pull requests on GitHub are ready to be merged. The bot will use OpenWhisk to track pull requests from a GitHub webhook feed and persist them to Cloudant. It will also check for delayed pull requests and post an alarm to Slack every 12 hours. The video demonstration shows how Amy's bot is deployed in IBM Bluemix and uses various services like OpenWhisk, Cloudant and Slack.
