Gigi, who had a lot of friends: Leo the Lion,Zeze the Zebra,

7. Gigi and her friends entered through the main gate of the
SavannaZoo. They saw lots of animals in small cages. All of
those animals seemed sad. This was not a happv zoo

8. Gigi suddenly saw another giraffe in a cage. Gigi greeted her
and asked, "what is your name?"
"My name is Spotsie," replied the other giraffe.
"Why are all animals sad?" asked Turtie.
"We are so sad because we are all stuck in cages! We can't
move much. We are treated very badly in this zoo. Can you
help us?" replied Spotsie.

9. "Let's make a planl" Zeze said. AII of the friends agreed.
They gathered together to come up with a good plan.

10. "l have an idea! lhave an idea! Said Gigi, excitedly.
So, she whispered into their ears her good plan: "We will
snatch the keys from the zookeeper, open all the cages, and
then free the animals!"
"l can snatch the keys from the zookeeper's pocket when he
takes a nap. Then, lgive them to Gigi to unlock the cages,"
said Beauty.

11. The friends spotted the zookeeper walking at a distance..
They quickly hid behind a tree waiting for him to take a nap.
He fell asleep and they immediately put their plan into action.

12. Beauty flew all the way to the zookeeper and sneaked into his
pockets. She found the keys and threw them to Gigi, as
planned.

13. All the friends went to open the first cage, where Spotsie the
giraffe with the elegant long neck was anxiously waiting.
As soon as the friends unlocked the first cage, Spotsy joined
them into their plan to free the other animals.

14. They moved together to the next cage. There, they found a
fluffy, cute, chubby panda. Oh, how Gigi wished to hug him!
As soon as Gigi unlocked the cage, the panda rooooolled
away through the door and left the zoo.

15. Next, the friends came across a new cage. They saw a spotty,
slim, long-tailed cheetah, the fastest animal on land!
As soon as Gigi unlocked the cage, the cheetah dashed
away, leaving the zoo desperately.

16. lmmediately, the friends zoomed to the next cage. There, they
discovered a big, large, grey elephant, the largest animal on
Iand !
As soon as Gigi unlocked the cage, the elephant stumped
away from the zoo, not to turn back again.

17. Once they freed all the animals, they rushed back to the
savanna before the zookeeper woke up.

18. There, they found a huge table. lt was SOOOOO quiet over
there.
But all of a sudden, all of the freed animals jumped out from
below the table and said "SURPRISE!"

19. Gigi and her friends saw that the table was filled with all sorts
of delicious food.
There was pasta, Gigi's favorite food, vegetables, and fruits.
There was even a cake as tall as a giraffe. There was also
chocolate, and of course, there was ice-cream!
The savanna was decorated wi[h balloons as big as an
elephant.

20. "THANK YOU!" AII of the freed animals yelled to Gigi and her
friends.
"We are so happy we could help. We should all be free!" Gigi
and her friends said at the same time.

21. Suddenly, Spotsie asked all of them, "will you all like to be my
friend?"
YES! Everyone said happily, and they continued to have a lot
of fun in the party.
