I completedthisstagewitha groupof4yearsold in ‘Cavagnaro Jardín’,inthetownwhereI live: Necochea.
ThisKindergartenhastwostimulusof30minutesperweekwherethestudentshaveanapproachtotheEnglish
Language,wheretheydevelopdifferentactivitiesandalsotheyhave abook tocomplete.

Tostartwiththisreport,oneofthemainaimsofthisexperiencewasrelatedwithofferingtostudents theopportunityto
developdifferentactivitiesrelatedwiththetopic:shapes. Herethestudents couldusethelanguageintheirsurround,
comparingandfindingtheshapesinthedifferentobjectsthattheyhadinthe classroom;suchasdoor,board,window,
andsoon.Making thisexperiencesignificantandrichfortheirknowledge becausenotonly they learntnewvocabulary
andsomestructuressuchas:it’s;butalsotheycouldactivatetheirpriorknowledge inevery single activity,whenthey
spokeaboutitscoloursandtocounttheshapes.
Thus,whenI thinkaboutmy ownlearningwiththis experience,I wasworriedaboutmyperformance,becauseunlessI
havesomeexperiencein kindergarten,notallthegroupsarethesameandI wasreally nervous.AlsoI wasworriedabout
thetime andthegamesthatthey woulddevelopinthe classroom,becausealwaysI trytousedifferentmaterialstocatch
- 2. theirattentionandmakethe classesmoredidactics.However,I couldsolvethiswhenI relaxedandenjoytheclassesas
they did.SoI couldsaythatI learnttoenjoywhatI loveto doand

IfI hadthechanceto developthispracticeagain,I wouldmakedifferentactivitieswherethestudentscouldinteract
between themactively respectingtheirturnandtheirplacetodevelopit.I think thatagoodchoicewouldbe using
interactivegames,takingintoaccountthatthechildrenlove them.
I considermyselfvery self – critical;andformy futureexperienceI willbe strictermakingthatallthe students(orthe
mostofthem)participate ortrytodo inevery activity orgame.Maybe I wouldchangetheplaceofthe tablesandchairs
in theclassroom,toobtainmorespacetomoveandplay.
Thisexperiencewasvery richforme;it helpedmeto gainexperienceasa teacherintheclassroomandseemyown
mistakesatthetime toteachsuchastheusageofthesecondlanguageduringthewholeclassorthemostofit
encouragingtostudentstouseitandrespecttheactivity.AlsoI want toadd,thatduring myobservationsandfirsttwo
classestherewasachildthatcry themostofthetime.At thebeginning I talkedwiththeteachertoknow iftherewasa
problem,hestartedkinder4 withoutdoingkinder3, sotheadaptationperiodwasterribleforhimandnowadaysthisis
a problemforhim.WhenI startedmyclasses,hecamewithmebut I couldn’tdo thathestartedtocry,heonly wanted
togo tohishome.Soin frontofthatsituation,I wouldliketocontainandbe morewithhim.
Finally I believe thatthisperiodinkinder wasusefulanditwill affectpositivelyin my futurepedagogicaldecisions,
taking allthe commentsintoaccountandalwaysdoingmybest in theclassroom.

Now thatI broke theice andI could finishthisexperienceandmy tutor’sfeedbackwascompletelyconstructive,I feel
moreconfidentwithmy performance,itwasafunnyexperience,howeverI havetoconfessthatI wasverynervous
becausethegroupwasabig oneandthechildrenwerequite noisy,but I knowthatI did my best efforttocompletethe
mainobjective: teach.
I felt comfortable,thegroupworkwaswonderfulandtheirtreatwasverykind.Notonly theheadteacher,butalsothe
Englishteacher helpedmewiththevideos,they worriedaboutthechildren,materialandsoon.I lovedthisexperiencein
spiteofmy initial nervousandworriesaboutmyownperformance.
