GHM – Future Developments
The Chedi Club Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia – 2014
The Chedi Club Jimbaran is a private estate nestled amidst 22,000 square metres of
tranquil grounds in the southern region of Bali. Encompassing 34 butler-serviced pool
villas, each is equipped with in-room dining service, a full kitchen, a Balinese pavilion for al
fresco meals and barbecues. The resort’s spaces are the creation of Robert Nation,
principal of Nation Architects, and Jaya Ibrahim, one of Indonesia’s foremost interior
designers.
Guests can look forward to all-day dining at The Restaurant, or choose from in-villa dining
and enjoying a bite by the 25-metre long U-shaped pool. The resort also features a spa
and health club to cater to guests’ wellness needs as they find rejuvenation in this
secluded oasis.
The Aayu Mumbai, India – 2015
The Aayu Mumbai is a 42-suite luxury hotel by celebrated designer Jaya Ibrahim, and
home to India’s first restaurants by the world’s most decorated chef Joël Robuchon, and
culinary superstar Hide Yamamoto. The Aayu Mumbai will be located on the top five floors
of Kohinoor Square’s Central Tower, the city’s tallest commercial building, in the Dadar
area.
Al Bait Sharjah, UAE – 2015
Al Bait Sharjah is a development aimed at protecting and restoring the emirate's historic
fabric. Spread over 10,000 square metres, the hotel will feature 54 guest rooms,
restaurants and a spa and wellness facility, some of which are incorporated into five
decades-old heritage buildings. Unique design elements such as converting an old home
into a library and museum, and weaving the Souq Al Arsa, a traditional open-air
marketplace, into the property as a pedestrian thoroughfare, will bring the destination's
charm to life and enhance the guest experience. Al Bait Sharjah is designed by UK-based
architectural firm GAJ, the same architects for The Chedi Khorfakkan in Sharjah.
The Chedi Tomakomai, Hokkaido, Japan – 2016
The Chedi Tomakomai will be GHM’s first property in Japan. Set within 1,057 hectares of
lush forest on the island of Hokkaido, this development with a 60-room luxury hotel and
40 private villas will be designed by iconic Japanese architect and 1995 Pritzker Prize
winner Tadao Ando. Hokkaido’s natural assets will be reflected in The Chedi’s open-air
hot springs, 30-table gourmet restaurant and health facilities, and the development will
stand as an environment-friendly design on 47 hectares of land, preserving 96% of the
surrounding forest.
Guests can look forward to spacious hotel rooms with built-in fireplaces and cliff-facing
views, a spa and health club, indoor and outdoor pools, library, lounge and wine cellars.
The Chedi Tomakomai will be only minutes from the new Chitose International Airport,
Tomakomai Port, and 16 premier golf courses.

The Chedi Dhapparu, Maldives – 2016
The Chedi Dhapparu, located on a 55-hectare, crescent-shaped atoll in the Maldives, will
include 90 hotel-managed viilas and 40 hotel suites. All 130 units offer direct beach
access and unrestricted views of either a coral-reef lagoon or the open ocean. The
generous villas, ranging from one to four bedrooms, cover up to 565 square metres while
half of the 90-square metre suites will have private pools for added luxury. Spa and
wellness facilities are complemented by a beach club with a dive centre and bar. Dining
takes on a lavish touch with choices of cuisine from the Maldives, India, Sri Lanka and
Japan.
The Chedi Tamouda Bay, Morocco – 2016
Located in northeastern Morocco, North Africa, The Chedi Tamouda Bay is being
designed as a beach resort featuring 107 guest rooms, suites and villas. Just an hour’s
drive from the international airport of Tangier, the resort will be spread across 11 hectares
and will feature three restaurants, a selection of bars, meeting facilities and 350 metres of
direct beach access to the Mediterranean Sea, complemented by a variety of recreational
activities.
The Chedi Khorfakkan, Sharjah, UAE – 2016
The Chedi Khorfakkan is a 170-suite resort situated on a mountain beside a private cove
on Sharjah’s east coast, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Covering an expanse of 130,000
square metres, The Chedi Khorfakkan will comprise The Fort, The Hilltown and the Town
Square. The Fort is the primary access to the hotel and will house the main reception,
restaurants, spa and health club and business facilities. The Hilltown will offer all-suite
accommodation including four royal suites, 10 presidential suites, 26 executive suites and
130 standard suites with unspoilt ocean views. The Town Square, the hub of activity in the
centre of The Hilltown, will feature a variety of cafes by the picturesque beachfront.
The Serai Zhudong, Hsinchu, Taiwan – 2016
The 200-room hotel and suites in The Serai Zhudong will form the entry-level rooms to the
500,000-square metre Eutopia development in Hsinchu County. Located nearest to the
central plaza where the commercial and cultural attractions will be housed, its proximity
allows guests the convenience of being in the heart of the activities amidst a forested
retreat.
The Chedi Zhudong, Hsinchu, Taiwan – 2017
The Chedi Zhudong will feature 92 exclusive suites, each with a view of the nearby Wuzhi
Mountain. An interactive dining concept will be incorporated into the hotel’s food and
beverage offering while amenities such as spa and health club facilities, and a 50-metre
infinity pool add a touch of luxury to this development.

The Chedi Club Zhudong, Hsinchu, Taiwan – 2018
