The annual Portal Appliance Testing (PAT test) will be done on
Sunday 8th November. If anyone wishes to use electrical
equipment for GFEC, please bring it along on that Sunday.
There will be a further ‘Open House/Bring & Buy/Coffee
Morning’ at John and Margaret’s (1 Sycamore Walk) on
Saturday 24th October, 10.30am to 12.30pm. Any donations
will be used for transport for the 100 shoeboxes packed at
Church. The last Coffee Morning raised over £100, with
another £80 in extra gifts. A big thank you to all who contributed.
NEXT SUNDAY
10:30 am: Fiona Massie leads. Continuing the series from Ephesians
entitled ’Our riches and responsibilities as believers’, Pastor Paul John
speaks on “Walk in purity” (Ephesians 4:17-5:17). Youth Group meet.
7 – 8 pm: Meet for prayer at June’s.

us in praying for the future of GFEC and enjoy a coffee and
a croissant (£2.00 donation appreciated).
On Sunday 22nd
November there will be a special church lunch following
the morning service. Paul and Julie will be moving to pastures new at the
end of November and this is GFEC’s opportunity to say a fond farewell. It
would be very helpful for the catering team to have an idea of how many
people will be staying for lunch – please respond yes or no, on the sign-up
sheet on the noticeboard table. Thank you.
