1. Getting Started with Web Attendance – Sept 13, 2012 (Update Sept. 19)
Dear Staff,
The following information is an introduction to using the Web Attendance system of
Trillium. It is intended to supplement the training we received in August and get us
started using this new online tool.
I created a short video that describes logging in, but there are some important notes
about timeline routines and confidentiality procedures in the body of this message, so

Getting Started - logging in for the first time
1. Open Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari on your computer. This does not
include iOS (iPhone, iPad) or other mobile devices yet.
The web address is https://sas.scs.on.ca/sasteacherweb and the https is very
important, especially from home.
2. Your user name is the first letter of your first name followed by 8 letters from your
last name. For many of us, it will be the same username as Clemnet.
3. Your default password is ‘abc123’ and you can change it in StudentsAchieve
(SAS).
4. ** For Students Achieve, you will also need to disable your popup blocker. You
can do this by selecting tools → popup blocker → turn off popup blocker.
5. You will be prompted to change your password and to add an email address to
the account. Add your address and then click save. It may present with an error
but you can simply click the X to close that account information window.
