 Senior technical position for 3 separate, consecutive contracts. Responsible for the daily
system management of Sun servers, Windows workstations and NetApp storage appliances
processing large data ingests from multiple sources, supplied to real-time mission critical
applications. System management of Linux servers and VMs, server hardware maintenance
and lab development infrastructure. ESXi based VCenter server and VM maintenance. .

System Administrator, System Design and Integration Specialist
 Responsible for (as team member) the daily system management of Oracle/Sun servers and
workstations, Windows domain (DC, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, DFS, Active Directory,
Exchange, Backup Exec, WSUS) servers, SUSE Linux servers, and Windows workstations.
 Responsible for (as team member) the security posture for all systems by ensuring all
relevant patches and CERT advisory mitigations are implemented and maintained.
 Acted as technical team lead in planning and delivering multitudes of hardware/software
replacement efforts. Projects included several Windows server upgrades, SAN mass
storage upgrades with data migration, Sun server/workstation upgrades (SunOS to Solaris
2.6 and then to Solaris 10).
 Responsible for integration of different hardware and operating systems (Oracle/Sun,
Windows, Linux, VMS) to enable the ability to communicate and share files.
 Part-time, provided initial configuration of IBM/NetApp mass storage and associated IBM
blade based Linux and Windows servers for GPS OCX (Boeing lab).


databases. Maintained Unix baseline monitoring with automated Perl tools.
