 In my last assignment,I led GE Corporate IT Risk from Feb 2014 till July2015 for SDG Corporation,
Responsible for moving applications securely into AWS Cloud with Sail Point Identity Management,
Ping Federate and Ping Access for Single Sign On and developing AD customizations for Cloud
movement; with a target of moving 8000 applications in the next 2 years and completed the pilot of
moving 10 applications securely into cloud. This addresses the need for business resilience with
Availability, recovery, security and compliance processes and techniques converged and managed
concurrently to create an infrastructure that can sustain true business resiliency
 Prior to this, I led Capital One Application Production Support Engagement for 7+ years from Jan

AWS Architect – I played a role of Central Source Code Administrator using CCC Harvest CA source code
and repository tool at Seagate Oklahoma in synchronizing codes between the servers across the datacenters
located in San Jose, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand and Netherlands and fixed the deployment issues
and worked on continuous deployment and integration which formed the strong base to support AWS tools
Jenkins, Chef and Puppet. Also with my strong Digital Applications, Oracle and SQL Database
Administration and Unix Administration expertize along with shell scripting and PERL scripting was able to
lead the Proof of concept exercises on migration efforts on SSO from CA Site Minder to Ping and Identity

Oracle ERP Administration Experiences –
 Best Buy: At Best-buy I led Oracle-Apps ERP Administration team of 20 members supporting versions
R12,11.5.9, 11.5.7, 11.5.5, supporting functional modules such as FA, PA, HR, BEN, PER, AP, GL, AR, OE,
INV, PO. Support requirement mainly involved creating new Oracle Apps environments with its own oracle
databases for multiple project and provide production go live stabilization support and upgrading Oracle
Applications from versions 11.5.5 to 11.5.7 to 11.5.9 and then to R12. Also had opportunity to manage
DIGITERRA apps (In-house dotcom application based on Web-logic platform).
 Seagate Singapore & Oklahoma: I was primarily assigned to convert MANMAN Application on DEC
platform To ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 Sun Platform, which involved Oracle-Apps ERP
Administration versions 11.5.3 & 10.7 supporting functional modules such as FA, PA, HR, BEN, PER, AP,
GL, AR, OE, INV, PO. Seagate had its IT development centers spread across San Jose USA, Singapore,
Amsterdam, Malaysia, Thailand and China. The Project was to convert MANMAN Application on DEC
platform To ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 Sun Platform. As a Project Manager, I led 10 DBA’s as part of
the Database Administration team Installing Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications 10.7 for various
manufacturing plants of Seagate Asia Pacific. Upgrading Oracle application versions, applying patches,
attending to wide range of problems, tuning databases and resolving long run jobs of the Oracle applications
was part of the responsibility. Oracle Applications over Oracle Parallel Server was a great opportunity for me
to work with Oracle Corporation for implementation. Other responsibilities included the following:
Administration of database's, database Networking, creating snapshots, refresh-groups, DB-link's and
maintenance of DTS system, Data Transfer System of Seagate's customized interface to deliver data from
application to application. Administering Oracle Applications 10.7included activities like- configuring
concurrent managers, Work-shift's, specialization rules, monitoring queues of programs pending in concurrent
managers, clearing up the queues by identifying the problems, fixing up long running jobs, applying
application patches, and synchronizing customization codes worldwide etc. Environment: Oracle application
10.7, Oracle 7.4 Database, Sun Solaris UNIX Server.
Oracle Database Administration Experiences -
 More than 100 Corporate Customers of Wipro, India, Seagate Singapore & Oklahoma and Best Buy MN -
July 1996 – December 2005 - [versions 10g, ,9i, 8.x and 7.x. managed Production DBA Support teams and
Development DBA Support Teams] I led the Oracle DBA Team of 20 DBA’s at Wipro InfoTech providing
onsite DBA support to more than a hundred Corporate Oracle Customers of Wipro InfoTech, India. The
DBA support teams were spread across all 4 regions of India. The Oracle support contract of the clients was
with Oracle Corporation through Wipro. Wipro Provided Onsite Support to the Clients, ensuring Customer
Satisfaction, following up with Annual Maintenance contract and extending the contract year over year. The
support also included multi location support to Corporate Customers across India. Responsibilities of Onsite
DBA Support included the following: Installation and upgrade of Oracle, Establishing scripts to monitor
databases, Plan and implement backup strategy, Resolving wide varieties of problems faced at different
customer sites, Tuning of databases, Attending to recovery on databases and providing training to customers
on handling the day to day issues. Environment: Oracle 7.x, Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, and Intel SCO UNIX,
Developer 2000(Forms 4.5 & Reports 2.5), Forms 3.0 and Reports 1.x. It was a great opportunity to lead a

 Supported more than 200 Corporate Customers of Wipro INFOTECH Chennai, India & Sterling Holiday
Resorts - - UNIX Server administration [SUN SOLARIS 2.6 2.5 2.4 2.3, HP UX 11, SCO UNIX, AT & T

 Client: Sterling Holiday Resorts, India - [involving Cisco routers 2501, 2503, 2509, 4000, KALPANA
switches and voice/data on 64 KBPS lines and VSAT’s from Hughes]- Project Manager – Wide Area
Network Implementation at Sterling Holiday Resorts, India. The requirement from Sterling Holiday Resorts,
India was to network all of their 14 Resorts, 4 Zonal Offices, Head Office, Corporate Office and 32 Sales
Offices, spread across the country, and enable online Resort booking from any of the sales offices. This
network implementation project was to design and implement the wide area network. I led a team of 20
networking engineers to implement wide area network across Sterling offices. Network was designed with
Cisco routers 2501, 2503, 2509, 4000, KALPANA switches and voice/data on 64 KBPS lines and VSAT’s
from Hughes. We configured the network equipment’s between local offices and the same configuration after
testing was implemented in remote sites working with engineers from other regions of India. We installed HP
Open View network-monitoring tool to monitor network traffic. We established alternative routes to act as
fallback routes in case of failures and tested the network with the applications. We successfully implemented
wide area network on schedule.

Responsibilities and Achievements:
 The development projects of Transco UK were completely performed by Wipro in an onsite offshore model.
The infrastructure support in the areas of Database administration, HP UNIX administration, Network
administration and NT administration were handled by skilled direct contractors working for Transco. The
goal of the project was to understand Oracle DBA processes and procedures followed by the Onsite
contractors and record/document the processes.These processes were not known to Transco and resulted in
high risk and excessive pay for contractors
 I lead a team of senior Oracle DBA’s to Transco UK and worked with the contractors for 3 months
documenting the processes and proceduresand came out with recommendations for additionsand changes in
processes & procedures.The Oracle DBA Support was then moved to offshore with minimal onsite team.

Responsibilities and Achievements:
 Seagate had its IT development centers spread across San Jose USA, Singapore, Amsterdam, Malaysia,
Thailand and China. They supported the hard drive manufacturing plants with Datacenters centrally located
at Oklahoma and Singapore. Seagate had a Centralized development code control tool called CCC/ Harvest
fromPlatinumwhich wasused to support hundreds of developers across the globe and many Seagate custom
applications developed on Oracle applications 10.7.
 In this project I held the role of a central source code administrator. Promoting codes to Production on
approval fromthe Directors and synchronizing the applicationswas the critical responsibilities of the Central
source code administrator.
 The CCC/ Harvest clients were installed on all development desktops across the world, which connected to
the central server at Oklahoma. The codes were promoted by the development team managers from
development to test environment. CCC Harvest tool was customized to sync with the promoted codes from
central repository to all related test servers during the night. The responsibility as a central source code
administrator wasto ensure that the CCC Harvest server is up and available for the development team to
promote the codes and to make sure that the synchronization of the codes happens successfully every night. If
any issues arose, it was required to work with the DBA’s to manually sync up the codes in the respective
server where failure happened.
 It was a position of responsibility and challenging role interacting with 100’s of developers and directors
across the globe.

I strongly believe in the mission statement…“Whatever there be of progress, comes not through adaptation, but through daring attempt to make changes in existing conditions” Infrastructure (UNIX, Oracle and Wide Area Network) experiences - Oracle ERP Administration Experiences –  Best Buy: At Best-buy I led Oracle-Apps ERP Administration team of 20 members supporting versions R12,11.5.9, 11.5.7, 11.5.5, supporting functional modules such as FA, PA, HR, BEN, PER, AP, GL, AR, OE, INV, PO. Support requirement mainly involved creating new Oracle Apps environments with its own oracle databases for multiple project and provide production go live stabilization support and upgrading Oracle Applications from versions 11.5.5 to 11.5.7 to 11.5.9 and then to R12. Also had opportunity to manage DIGITERRA apps (In-house dotcom application based on Web-logic platform).  Seagate Singapore & Oklahoma: I was primarily assigned to convert MANMAN Application on DEC platform To ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 Sun Platform, which involved Oracle-Apps ERP Administration versions 11.5.3 & 10.7 supporting functional modules such as FA, PA, HR, BEN, PER, AP, GL, AR, OE, INV, PO. Seagate had its IT development centers spread across San Jose USA, Singapore, Amsterdam, Malaysia, Thailand and China. The Project was to convert MANMAN Application on DEC platform To ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 Sun Platform. As a Project Manager, I led 10 DBA’s as part of the Database Administration team Installing Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications 10.7 for various manufacturing plants of Seagate Asia Pacific. Upgrading Oracle application versions, applying patches, attending to wide range of problems, tuning databases and resolving long run jobs of the Oracle applications was part of the responsibility. Oracle Applications over Oracle Parallel Server was a great opportunity for me to work with Oracle Corporation for implementation. Other responsibilities included the following: Administration of database's, database Networking, creating snapshots, refresh-groups, DB-link's and maintenance of DTS system, Data Transfer System of Seagate's customized interface to deliver data from application to application. Administering Oracle Applications 10.7included activities like- configuring concurrent managers, Work-shift's, specialization rules, monitoring queues of programs pending in concurrent managers, clearing up the queues by identifying the problems, fixing up long running jobs, applying application patches, and synchronizing customization codes worldwide etc. Environment: Oracle application 10.7, Oracle 7.4 Database, Sun Solaris UNIX Server. Oracle Database Administration Experiences -  More than 100 Corporate Customers of Wipro, India, Seagate Singapore & Oklahoma and Best Buy MN - July 1996 – December 2005 - [versions 10g, ,9i, 8.x and 7.x. managed Production DBA Support teams and Development DBA Support Teams] I led the Oracle DBA Team of 20 DBA’s at Wipro InfoTech providing onsite DBA support to more than a hundred Corporate Oracle Customers of Wipro InfoTech, India. The DBA support teams were spread across all 4 regions of India. The Oracle support contract of the clients was with Oracle Corporation through Wipro. Wipro Provided Onsite Support to the Clients, ensuring Customer Satisfaction, following up with Annual Maintenance contract and extending the contract year over year. The support also included multi location support to Corporate Customers across India. Responsibilities of Onsite DBA Support included the following: Installation and upgrade of Oracle, Establishing scripts to monitor databases, Plan and implement backup strategy, Resolving wide varieties of problems faced at different customer sites, Tuning of databases, Attending to recovery on databases and providing training to customers on handling the day to day issues. I led a team of 10 infrastructure support engineers supporting Wipro TRICHY corporate customer’s day to day support requirements on UNIX Servers Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, SCO UNIX and AT&T UNIX. The support included Installation of UNIX, Memory Management, Disk Management, Process Management, User Management, Backup Management, Printer Management, Handling of errors and managing local area networks Wide Area Network Experiences-  Client: Sterling Holiday Resorts, India - [involving Cisco routers 2501, 2503, 2509, 4000, KALPANA switches and voice/data on 64 KBPS lines and VSAT’s from Hughes]- Project Manager – Wide Area Network Implementation at Sterling Holiday Resorts, India. The requirement from Sterling Holiday Resorts, India was to network all of their 14 Resorts, 4 Zonal Offices, Head Office, Corporate Office and 32 Sales Offices, spread across the country, and enable online Resort booking from any of the sales offices. This network implementation project was to design and implement the wide area network. I led a team of 20 networking engineers to implement wide area network across Sterling offices. Network was designed with Cisco routers 2501, 2503, 2509, 4000, KALPANA switches and voice/data on 64 KBPS lines and VSAT’s from Hughes. We configured the network equipment’s between local offices and the same configuration after testing was implemented in remote sites working with engineers from other regions of India. We installed HP Open View network-monitoring tool to monitor network traffic. We established alternative routes to act as fallback routes in case of failures and tested the network with the applications. We successfully implemented wide area network on schedule. The support teams were associated with their respective client management teams.  Handled customer escalations and team issues  Improved Support through GAP analysis and Service Improvement plans July 2000 – June 2001 Company: Wipro Client: Transco UK Role: Project Manager Responsibilities and Achievements:  The development projects of Transco UK were completely performed by Wipro in an onsite offshore model. The infrastructure support in the areas of Database administration, HP UNIX administration, Network administration and NT administration were handled by skilled direct contractors working for Transco. The goal of the project was to understand Oracle DBA processes and procedures followed by the Onsite contractors and record/document the processes.These processes were not known to Transco and resulted in high risk and excessive pay for contractors  I lead a team of senior Oracle DBA’s to Transco UK and worked with the contractors for 3 months documenting the processes and proceduresand came out with recommendations for additionsand changes in processes & procedures.The Oracle DBA Support was then moved to offshore with minimal onsite team. Responsibilities and Achievements:  Seagate had its IT development centers spread across San Jose USA, Singapore, Amsterdam, Malaysia, Thailand and China. They supported the hard drive manufacturing plants with Datacenters centrally located at Oklahoma and Singapore. Seagate had a Centralized development code control tool called CCC/ Harvest fromPlatinumwhich wasused to support hundreds of developers across the globe and many Seagate custom applications developed on Oracle applications 10.7.  In this project I held the role of a central source code administrator. Promoting codes to Production on approval fromthe Directors and synchronizing the applicationswas the critical responsibilities of the Central source code administrator.  The CCC/ Harvest clients were installed on all development desktops across the world, which connected to the central server at Oklahoma. The codes were promoted by the development team managers from development to test environment. CCC Harvest tool was customized to sync with the promoted codes from central repository to all related test servers during the night. The responsibility as a central source code administrator wasto ensure that the CCC Harvest server is up and available for the development team to promote the codes and to make sure that the synchronization of the codes happens successfully every night. If any issues arose, it was required to work with the DBA’s to manually sync up the codes in the respective server where failure happened.
  • 6.  It was a position of responsibility and challenging role interacting with 100’s of developers and directors across the globe. September 1997 – May 1999 Company: Wipro Client: Seagate Singapore Role: Sr.Oracle ApplicationsDBAat Seagate Singapore Datacenter Responsibilities and Achievements:  Seagate Singapore IT was the Data-center for the Asia Pacific region for the Seagate’smanufacturing plants at Singapore, Malaysia, China and Japan. The Project was to convert MANMAN Application on DEC platform To ORACLE APPLICATIONS 10.7 Sun Platform.  As a Project Manager, I led 10 DBA’s as part of the Database Administration team Installing Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications 10.7 for various manufacturing plants of Seagate Asia Pa cific.  Upgrading Oracle application versions, applying patches, attending to wide range of problems, tuning databases and resolving long run jobs of the Oracle applications was part of the responsibility.  Oracle Applications over Oracle Parallel Server was a great opportunity for me to work with Oracle Corporation for implementation.  Other responsibilities included the following: Administration of database's, database Networking, creating snapshots, refresh-groups, DB-link's and maintenance of DTS system, Data Transfer System of Seagate's customized interface to deliver data fromapplication to application.Administering Oracle Applications 10.7, configuring concurrent managers, Work-shift's, specialization rules, monitoring queues of programs pending in concurrent managers, clearing up the queues by identifying the problems, fixing up long running jobs, applying application patches, and synchronizing customization codes worldwide etc. Environment: Oracle application 10.7, Oracle 7.4 Database, Sun Solaris UNIX Server. July 1996 – September 1997 Company: Wipro Client: More than 100 Corporate Customers of Wipro, India Role: Technical Lead Oracle DBA Support – Wipro INFOTECH, India Responsibilities and Achievements:  I led the Oracle DBA Team of 20 DBA’s at Wipro InfoTech providing onsite DBA support to more than a hundred Corporate Oracle Customers of Wipro InfoTech, India. The DBA support teams were spread across all 4 regions of India.  The Oracle support contract of the clients was with Oracle Corporation through Wipro. Wipro Provided Onsite Support to the Clients, ensuring Customer Satisfaction, following up with Annual Maintenance contract and extending the contract year over year. The support also included multi location support to Corporate Customers across India.  Responsibilities of Onsite DBA Support included the following: Installation and upgrade of Oracle, Establishing scripts to monitordatabases,Plan and implement backup strategy, Resolving wide varieties of problems faced at different customer sites, Tuning of databases, Attending to recovery on databases and providing training to customerson handling the day to day issues.Environment: Oracle 7.x, Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, and Intel SCO UNIX, Developer 2000(Forms 4.5 & Reports 2.5), Forms 3.0 and Reports 1.x  It was a great opportunity to lead a team and handle multiple Database issues across 100’s of customers June 1995 –July 1996 Company: Wipro Client: Sterling Holiday Resorts, India Role: Project Manager – Wide Area Network Implementation at Sterling Holiday Resorts, India Responsibilities and Achievements:  The requirement fromSterling Holiday Resorts,India wasto network all of their 14 Resorts, 4 Zonal Offices, Head Office, Corporate Office and 32 Sales Offices, spread across the country, and enable online Resort booking fromany of the salesoffices. This network implementation project was to design and implement the wide area network.
  • 7.  I led a teamof 20 networking engineers to implement wide area network acrossSterling offices. Network was designed with Cisco routers2501, 2503, 2509,4000, KALPANA switches and voice/data on 64 KBPS lines and VSAT’s from Hughes. We configured the network equipment’s between local offices and the same configuration aftertesting was implemented in remote sites working with engineers from other regions of India. We installed HP Open View network-monitoring tool to monitor network traffic.  We established alternative routes to act asfallback routes in case of failures and tested the network with the applications.  We successfully implemented wide area network on schedule. June 1992 –June 1995 Company: Wipro Client: Wipro Corporate Customers of TRICHY, India Role: Location Head – Wipro INFOTECH TRICHY, India Responsibilities and Achievements:  I led a teamof 10 infrastructure support engineerssupporting Wipro TRICHY corporate customer’s day to day support requirements on UNIX Servers Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, SCO UNIX and AT&T UNIX.  The support included Installation of UNIX, Memory Management, Disk Management, Process Management,UserManagement, Backup Management, Printer Management, Handling of errors and managing local area networks.  We also provided software supporthandling installations of Oracle and administration of Oracle Version7. I was also engaged in marketing pre-sales support as an additional responsibility. June 1991 –June 1992, Company: Wipro Client: In-house Support, Wipro INFOTECH Chennai, India Role: Project Lead – Developed Software Packages forIn-house Support, Wipro INFOTECH Chennai, India Responsibilities and Achievements:  I led a team to develop Software Packages for In-house Wipro Support.  We developed packages for Annual Maintenance Contract, Stores Accounting and Call Maintenance. We went through the process of entire Software development life cycle, starting with Requirement analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and User training  The Packages were developed on DBASE PLUS. Environment: Intel PC, Novell NetWare, DBASE June 1986 –June 1991 Company: Wipro Client: More than 200 Corporate Customers of Wipro INFOTECH Chennai, India Role: Customer Support Engineer/ Specialist Responsibilities and Achievements:  Provide ServerSupport, UNIX Support and LAN Support to more than 200 Corporate Customers of Wipro INFOTECH Chennai, India.  Support responsibilities included Installation and administration of UNIX on various platforms such as Sun / HP / Wipro’s mini computers and Local Area Network Novell NetWare and NT.
