1. Rainforest Alliance Challenge Objective: Outreach campaign to increase understanding of social and environmental benefits of Rainforest Alliance certification among college students. Make use of free/existing digital tools. Proposal: Rainforest Alliance sponsors a Spring or Summer outdoor concert for a designated university -Only local/university acts are allowed to play in the concert -Comedians, poets, speeches by university students should be performed in addition to music.

2. Possible Ideas Publicize the event through online social networks and media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, University’s official website, Blogs) Try to get the designated university to team up and cosponsor and publicize the event. Possible footage and blogs about the event uploaded to Facebook groups or University website. Event is documented in official/unofficial newspaper and newsletters. Possible Theme to the Event: Theme should involve benefits of Rainforest Alliance mission or being eco-friendly. Have a tent that sells Rainforest Alliance products (coffee, etc.) and distributes information about the Rainforest Alliance overall mission.
