Originating in Austria, Raclette is a
popular dish in Germany during
the wintertime.
Made on a Raclette Grill with small
pans you pick your favorite
ingredients and place them on in
your Raclette Pan. Then you cover
the incidents with a slice of
Raclette cheese and place it under
the grill.
Once the cheese has melted and is
bubbling it is ready to eat.

of celebrating the end of Advent on
the 24th of December.
The Advent period was considered a
time of fasting, and meat wasn't
allowed to be consumed, but fish
was acceptable.
