Georgia, gives 10% of its giving to local service
organizations. One charity that benefits from the

Violence Center (CFVC). As a result of the
contributions of His Hands Church and others,
CFVC provides vital assistance to those in the
local community who are affected by domestic
violence.

hotline to answer crisis calls, along with
emergency shelter services to individuals and
families fleeing interpersonal violence. In
addition, CFVC provides free legal services and
court accompaniment to its clients. Other key
services include emergency financial systems
and access to income-based housing to assist
individuals and families with creating stability
and self-sufficiency after leaving a violent
environment.
4. According to research, females are the most
common victims of domestic violence, with
nearly three in 10 women in the United
States affected by physical violence, rape, or
stalking by an intimate partner. The services
and advocacy offered by CFVC provides a
vital service to women seeking to escape
abusive situations.
