 As the image shows below the audience to fit a horror
slasher is teenagers and has been since horror slasher began
therefor I think in our production we need to keep this
attraction to it and a way of doing this is by having a party
scene at the beginning of the opening sequence.

In the text below it suggests how the violence and gore in a horror
slasher are only there to please the audience is specific scenes and not all
the time, it suggests that graphic violence presented within slasher films
break the taboos placed in cinema and society and when they break the
taboo it is appealing and thrilling to the audience

4. Narrative Structure
 The narrative structure to a horror slasher is combined
with Todorov’s theory on equilibrium and we see this in
horror slasher with a group of teenagers going around
together and they are then disrupted by a Pyscho and the
disequilibrium happens where some friends get killed and
then eventually good always defeats evil and the new
equilibrium is the killer dyeing and the last teenager
survives.
