In 1805: First settled by a handful of settlers from Charlotte, New York.
In 1806: Settlers from Harpersfield, New York arrived and established
Harpersfield Township, which included the present-day
townships of Geneva, Trumbull and Hartsgrove.
In 1816: Small group of settlers just north of Harpersfield Village
decided to withdraw from Harpersfield Township and
named their new community Geneva, after the beautiful
little town of Geneva, New York.

Geneva on the Lake
A small village located on the shores of Lake Erie about an hour's drive
east of Cleveland, and it is a part of the city of Geneva, Ohio.
In the early 1900s, Midwest inventors and businessmen, John D.
Rockefeller, Henry Ford, and Harvey Firestone, chose the spot to spend
camping weekends.
The spot brought them back, again and again, and from that year,
Geneva-On-The-Lake became Ohio’s First Summer Resort.

22. • Participants in the championship will be 24 local
teams from State of Ohio
• The championship will consist of 22 matches, one
match every weekend for five and a half months,
from May to middle of October.
• The 24 teams will play 22 matches on single
elimination basis.
• The semifinal match will held on last weekend of
September, the third place match will be held on
the first weekend of October, and the final match
will held on the second weekend of October.
• The first team will receive a cash prize of 25
thousand dollars, 15 thousand dollars for the
second team, and 10 thousand dollars for the third
team.
• All operating expenses to be collected from the
sponsors of the championship
