Our battery costs are quickly evolving and we will beat the target of $100 per kWh, as we are not near the bottom of the battery cost curve yet. For our Ultium battery, we use a lithium-protected anode and proprietary electrolyte in a multi-layer pouch cell, which has completed 500 deep charge/discharge cycles in our R&D lab, showing promise for electric vehicles. We are also testing silicon anodes and lithium metal anodes to further improve vehicle range and affordability, with early results already demonstrating automotive durability standards.
