Roles and Responsibility as SR Manager (General affairs) / Insurance
To lead the commercial & contractual aspects, provide strategic inputs to support operations & set strategies with the
objective of minimizing risks, maximizing opportunities & avoiding disputes. As well as expert in managing administrative
functions i.e. insurance & legal activities, office management, vender development, property/office location search in all
India bases, finalization negotiating term & condition and finalizing various lease agreements.

WORK PROFILE
Insurance Managements
Working on Policies Type: MARINE, GMC, GPA, FIRE, BUG., MBD, FADILITY, CPM, WC, CPM, CAR, EAR, PG, CR & OTHERS
• Coordination with various Departments persons on multiple issues related to insurance underwriting terms and
conditions by assessing the probability of needs as per the specific requirement, through discussion with related
authority
• Negotiating the terms and conditions of various insurance products available in the market by assessing probability
of needs to cater specific requirements through discussions with different underwriters mainly focussing upon
comprehensive protection with lowest rates of premium.
• To instantly arrange insurance certificate upon receipt of LC details in case of import and export of stock in lines
with the bankers requirements at the time of opening of LCs & transfer by TT ;
• I have inculcated proficiency in dealing with various claims and its documentation at different levels. My portfolio
includes dealing with claims right from the time I get information of loss to consignment during transit either due
to damages, pilferage, theft , fire or non delivery The process include registration of claim with the Underwriters;
to arrange deputation of surveyor from Office of the Insurers within India under whose jurisdiction loss had
occurred; to negotiate loss amount with the surveyor whether in Delhi or anywhere in India; to comply with claim
formalities, viz. Filing of claim form, arranging shortage/damage certificates from the Carriers, preferring monetary
claim on the carriers within stipulated time period, submitting claim bill etc. and finally forwarding the claim
papers duly scrutinized to the Policy issuing Office and to liaising at different levels, i.e. with Logistic Companies,
concerned Police Stations and other related authorities, till claim is settled and payment received by the company.
• Coordination to competent authority for best insurance premium rate & Services.
• Coordination with TPA (Insurance) for smooth and trouble free cashless hospitalization/reimbursement for
employees and their families;
• To monitor Sales turnover Policy on day to day basis and to coordinate with the Insurance Companies to adjust
monthly declarations of all despatches made by all our companies viz a viz timely enhancing sum insured by getting
endorsement done;
• To monitor for timely renewals of all annual policies for group of our companies and timely getting the additions
of premises/enhancements of sum insured endorsed on the policies upon receipt of requirements from various
departments of the organization;
• To negotiate terms and conditions, lowest premium rates with the Underwriters for various commercials covers,
like CAR, CPM, EAR as per requirement of the company;
• Servicing of Group Mediclaim and GPA Policies : My portfolio includes liasioning with the Underwrites for
providing best possible instant services to about 1600 employees and their family members and to see that all the
new joinees are timely covered and Insurance policy is suitably endorsed ; to keep track with timely renewal of
policy without break so that continuity of risks are maintained; to keep track with the TPA so that in the event of
hospitalization, the employee get trouble free cashless treatment;

General Administration
 Designing and implementing system/Polices/procedures in consultation with top management for smooth and
effective administration.
 Support to admin head for Finalizing offices for the company across in india.
 Finalizing the Securities system of all Offices.
 Vehicles Purchase for the all companies.
 Monitoring overall operations across the various locations in India i.e. Purchase, logistic, Event Managements
Transport & Travel Etc.
 Coordination with Legal, Police & Hire authorities
 Identify scope for process enhancements for continuous process effectiveness.
 Designing and preparing MIS reports with a view to apprise management of the routine business operations
and facilitate critical decision making process.
 Regular coordination with all Zonal Manager across the India offices for any assistance.

 Negotiating on prices on Bulk orders with the suppliers as per the costing given from the buyers.
 Price comparison between different suppliers & following up with the orders.
