Bowring Marsh is the leading international reinsurance placement broker and is an arm of Marsh & McLennan group of
companies specializing in property and casualty risks and uses placement expertise in major international market hubs and an
integrated global network to secure advantageous terms and conditions for its clients throughout the world.
Reinsurance Claims Analyst (reporting to Head of Operations)
 Solely managed the entire Claims department for the first 18 months since joining BM Dubai.
 Responsible for handling and managing all lines of Reinsurance claims including Property, Engineering, Marine and
Liability.
 Notify new claims to all reinsurers after reviewing the slips, policy terms and relevant exclusions
 Review and understand incoming documentation and distributing to all the markets concerned
 Exclusively worked on clearing all Legacy and complex claims dated back to 2011 prior to founding of Bowring Marsh.
 Acting as the main point of contact and a liaison between the local and international reinsurers, Cedants as well as various
International Bowring Marsh offices including BM London, BM Singapore and Marsh Korea
 Attend to claim enquiries and provide support for procedural guidance to clients and facilitate information request between
insurers and clients
 Processing of claims on the PREMIA system and ensuring settlement documentation is sent out to the concerned markets
within the agreed TAT
 Monitoring incoming and outstanding funds from markets and communicate with client to provide collections updates for
outstanding receivables and reconciliations
 Generating claims reports as well outstanding receivables reports to the placement Brokers and Senior Management in order
to assist placements and/or policy renewals
 Coordinating with various internal departments such as underwriters, auditors etc. for all claim related requirements and
ensuring funds are released to the cedants/ clients in time
 Attend regular visits and meetings with clients, cedants , loss adjusters and reinsurers and various International Marsh and
Bowring Marsh Offices
 Working closely with the Head of Operations to review, identify and improve operations processes and procedures for
operational efficiency and enhanced quality claims service for our clients and partners

 Responsible for 14 insurance brokers in the UAE market, with most companies operating an average
turnover of $100m, such as Marsh, Pinnacle Insurance Brokers, etc.
 Dealing with various classes of General and Corporate Insurance such as Property, Liability, Motor,
Workman’s Compensation, SME packages, Office Packages etc.
 Ensuring and managing broker relationships through extensive meeting schedules, effective
communication between Underwriting and Brokers and educating brokers over insurance policies and
