GWA is GEMS World Academy Singapore and

4. What is IB curriculum?
Academic foundation includes IB curriculum which is The International Baccalaureate programme
suitable for international students. This programme is developed for kids (Aged 3-5), Primary years
(aged 6-10) and for students aged 11-17 years. In Early years programme there is something
called Parent engagement programme, because some kids need more time to adapt and their
parents should work jointly with the school.
The International Baccalaureate IB programme focuses on student's ability to learn and helps
them to adapt faster. Adapting to a new environment, for every international student is extremely
important because as soon as he manages to adapt, he will start to acquire knowledge easily.
Students in IB curriculum in GWA have language classes, mathematics, science and social
studies. In the last level of IB programme children are prepared for their further education. This
preparation includes several exams and projects. Thanks to them, the student can receive IB
Diploma which is extremely valuable for University admissions.

art classes, too. Arts are the easiest way to develop individuality in every child.
