During the first event in October 2013, participants constructed infrastructure like raised beds, a solar dryer, and a biogas system. They also did activities like cleaning, preparing the land, and sharing meals and visions for the farm. Hundreds of visitors then came to the farm to learn from the original participants. A second event was held in April 2014 where participants tested new systems like aquaponics and an improved compost toilet while helping with harvests and educational sessions.
