Owned and operated the Vancouver Antique Mall in Vancouver, Washington; marketing a collective of
40 antique dealers, with annual sales of $300,000.00

Worked with Mr. Bob Rau, of The Collector’s TV program, as an apprentice appraiser
1997—2002
Inventoried, identified, appraised, and cataloged fine art and antiques for O’Gallerie auction house
with annual sales of $3,250,000.00
2004—2008
Contributed expert antiques and collecting advice as guest on “Good Day Oregon,” Saturday morning

1996—PRESENT
Produce and present live “Antiques Roadshow” style appraisal clinics Local clients include Christine
Palmer & Associates (formerly PalmerWirfs), the Multnomah Athletic club, Safeway, Farmers
Insurance, Elders in Action, and Ameriprise Financial, as well as many retirement communities, and
both public and private events. Distant clinic locations include Vancouver BC, Los Angeles, CA and
Denver, CO
2002—PRESENT
Own and operate Gary Germer & Associates. Recognized as expert witness for divorce and claim
disputes in greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA area. Clients include Wells Fargo Bank Trust, Key
Bank Trust, Chubb Group insurance, Farmers insurance, Catlin Gabel School, Sherwood Schools,
Innovative Services NW/Vancouver Children’s Therapy center, and other commercial, professional,
and private clients
