A 2008 strategic plan recommended increased access to mental health services for those with autism or other neurodevelopmental disabilities. A subcommittee identified the START model for crisis intervention for those with dual diagnoses. A $50,000 contract was authorized to conduct a gap analysis of a potential Colorado Cross System Crisis Intervention Program. The analysis will include regional meetings, an online survey, analyzing relevant policies, a cost analysis of 40 individuals, and a final report.
