Catchphrases and Presenters
Catchphrases
 “I’d like to phone a friend” this is a line from Who Wants to Be a
Millionaire. This is used when a person is stuck on a question and they are
given the chance to call someone to help them answer the questions.
 “You are the weakest link. Goodbye.” this was used on the show The
Weakest Link. Anne Robinson before someone who had lost the round and
is then being asked to leave the game
 “Deal or No Deal?” This was said during the game show of the same name
when someone was given a deal by the man on the phone. This gave them
a choice to take a deal from them and earn something before the game
ends.
Who the Presenter Is
 The presenter I am going to discuss is a presenter for the panel game
show “Taskmaster” called Greg Davies where he plays “The Taskmaster”.
 Greg Davies is most famous for his role in the Inbetweeners as Mr Giblert
and also his stand up comedy. As time has gone on he has been in some
of shows as a main character like Cuckoo, and Man Down. He has even
been in an episode of Doctor Who because of his rising fame.
Within the Show
 Within the show they usually wear a suit on the show. I believe he do this
to show his importance to the show.
 At the beginning of the show he is sitting down on a chair next to his co
host doing the introduction to the show giving a monologue of the types
of people on the show (and usually ridiculing them as well).
 They are usually funny during the show. They do this by making fun of the
contestants and their challenges or their decisions during the tasks they
set. They are defiantly not supportive in any way but joke around in a more
friendly way as the people who go on his shows are usually friends of his.
 In the game they create the challenges and also decide how many points
people will get for each challenge. They are basically the judge of whatever
the contestants were doing.
