This document is a keepsake manual for parents that provides information about historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and encourages parents to discuss HBCUs and their importance with their children from a young age. It includes the alphabet of HBCU names, quotes from famous HBCU alumni, and suggestions for daily and weekly activities parents can do with their children while wearing apparel with the "Gifted by God" design.

9. HBCUs HBCUs have been producing many of the world’s powerful leaders, entertainers and achievers since 1837. There are over 105 HBCU schools in the United States of America. There are over 1,500,000 people who graduated from these schools. We want to encourage our babies to grow up and continue this outstanding tradition of excellence.
