Through our research, we discovered what motivates the community to donate, join, participate and engage with non-profit organizations, specifically seeking to understand why people give both locally and outside their community.

55. DID YOU KNOW? Metropolitan’s Legal Aid Bureau provided comprehensive legal representation to 661 survivors of domestic violence resulting in 110 orders of protection , 172 custody orders , 216 safe visitation orders and 104 dissolution judgments last year.

Your gift will assist in providing safety planning and legal advice for a victim of domestic violence, protect an impoverished senior ’s assets or prevent a family from being unlawfully evicted .
