Practice teaching is a practical training for the prospective teachers to gather real setting experiences about the uses of teaching method, teaching strategies, teaching techniques, teaching principles and teaching aids. A trainee undergoes different experiences and practices during the practice teaching course. In the present situation, the prospective teachers are facing few challenges during the teaching practice. So, this paper has been aimed to find out the challenges of practice teaching. In this study, the researcher conducted a review technique related to practice teaching to explore the challenges of teaching practice among the prospective teachers. This study found that most of the prospective teachers indicated that practice teaching was ineffective in improving their teaching skill and few prospective teachers indicated that they were not benefitted much from the practice teaching. There is needed for the responsible authorities to review the procedures for carrying out practice teaching course in order to improve the quality of teachers. The study was enlightened that there are many issues of practice teaching related to the preparation of the lesson planning, classroom management, proper teaching skills, negative attitude of administration, school facilities and community barriers. To conclude the study, the researcher recommended to upgrading the strategies to overcome the issues of practice teaching. Upgraded strategies should be used for making teaching learning process more effective during practice teaching. This paper highlights the significant role of practice teaching course among the prospective teacher to improving the teaching skill. This study evaluated the factors influencing the retention of students with disabilities studying
through open and distance learning in Zimbabwe. The study examined the issues related to the provision of
services and explored the implementation of inclusive education towards students with disabilities. Students
with disabilities have participated sparingly through the open and distance education mode of delivery in
Zimbabwe at the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU). The study employed the qualitative research methodology
and used the case study research design. Primary data were generated through in-depth interviews.
Respondents to the study were selected using the purposive sampling technique from the ZOU Bulawayo and
Matabeleland Regional Centres. The study revealed that retention of students with disabilities was influenced by
several factors; more significantly was the perceived unaffordability of fees considering the economic
environment facing the students. Respondents also indicated that materials and facilities utilised at the
institution were not deliberately designed with specific consideration of the needs of students with disabilities.
The study concluded that distance education has the potential to improve the lives of disabled persons when
adequately funded. The study recommended that the University should re-design its physical facilities in a
manner that suits students with special needs. The use of information technologies was also forwarded as a
more cost effective alternative to educate students with disabilities under the harsh economic environment faced
by Zimbabwean institutions.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to apply a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process model FAHP for estimating students' importance indexes problem, where the measures of students' attitudes and responses are often uncertain or difficult to determine by using non-fuzzy model. Fuzzy set theory treats a kind of uncertainty called fuzziness. It shows that the boundary of “yes” or “no” is ambiguous and appears in the meaning of words or included in the subjunctives or recognition of human beings. Design/methodology/approach: This paper adapts FAHP to analysis students' satisfaction for the services submitted by the university to enhance learning process and circumstance environment for students, this area of researches is still out of university importance. For the purposes of the survey, questionnaires were designed for all the factors which are affecting in students' satisfaction and most probably all these factors are taken according to their suitable priority. There were five main criterions in the questionnaires. Criterion one focuses on administrative university services Si, the second criterion concentrate with teaching and learning process Ti, while the third criterion is university climate and student activities Ai, the fourth criterion covers the administrative facilities Fi, and the fifth criterion is learning facilities students Li, were asked to measure their perceived experiences with those criterions. Each criterion contains some of sub criteria. Findings: The results illustrate that the quality of teachers T1, Opportunities for recreational activities A1, fair evaluation for students T6, and remedial support A3 are the most important indexes for students. The proposed model would help decision-makers to enhancement the quality of the services and may be adding other facility to make the university more attractive. Research limitations/implications: This paper makes some assumptions such as the number of sample are taken from seven colleges only and not cover all colleges in the university and concentrated about the final levels. Originality/value: This paper introduces fuzzy theory with AHP approach to the research of university services as customers in public firms and it has reached some valuable conclusions, which has opened up a new field of study in the universities services area

Test Anxiety and Academic Achievement in Thiruvannamalai District
The present study planned to probe the effects of test anxiety on academic achievement of high school pupils. The respondents encompassed of 300 school pupils 158 boys and 142 girls studied in IX standard were selected by random basis from diverse high schools of Thiruvannamalai District. Prof. V. P. Sharma’s Test Anxiety Scale TAS was used to assess test anxiety and English Achievement Test EAT was used to carry out test and calculated the percentage of total marks attain by the students was measured as the academic achievement score. The outcome revealed that the result revealed that there is significant difference in Private school students have high anxiety when compared to Government School students. Nuclear family students achieve more in the academic of English when compared to Joint family students. Government school students achieve more in English when compared to Private school students. And also reveals that there is no significant difference between nuclear family and joint family in respect to their Test Anxiety. The Personal and Intellectual Development of Students
We think we know some useful things about what happens to students on the way to a college degree. We still have to make some educated guesses as to why it happens, but perhaps research will gain more insight into causal factors in the next years. At this point, however, the sheer volume of information available has encouraged some pragmatically-inclined folks to try to condense and simplify the findings into something that teachers and administrators can and will read and use.
I confess that I am about to deliver yet another list - one that will not continue the upward count of things to do to improve education, but that will pull from the existing lists those items that I think are most relevant to the unique educational mission of the service academies. Since you know the educational characteristics of your academies far better than I, it may be presumptuous of me to attempt this feat, but breathe easy; my list has only six items. The first three are what might be called environmental factors that create the cumulative overall impact on the personal and intellectual development of students. These factors are most likely to affect attributes such as leadership and character. They are: 1) the coherence and reinforcement of a consistent educational message, 2) the socialization of the student into the values of the institution, and 3) the integration of education and experience. The second set of three items are instructional or classroom factors that promote the development of academic and intellectual skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and effectiveness in communication. The three items in that list are: 1) the communication of high expectations, 2) the encouragement of active student learning, and 3) the provision of assessment and prompt feedback.
Environmental Factors: The educational environment of the service academies is probably one of the most potentially potent that exists on any campus in the United States. Students are immersed in a consistent and reinforcing environment from the day they arrive to the day they graduate. Thus, I have listed coherence and reinforcement of the educational message as first on my list of research-documented characteristics known to have an impact on students. This characteristic represents one of your most distinctive departures from the average college campus. First and perhaps most powerfully, you are residential institutions. Your students live on campus and are subject 24 hours a day to the influence of the people and environment of your academies. That, says the research, makes for a peculiar potency that affects values, attitudes, self-concept, intellectual orientation, and a host of other personal variables that contribute to what you might call leadership and character.

Self-Esteem and Academic Success of Secondary School Students in Calabar Met...Research Journal of Education
The essence of this research was to investigate the influence of self-esteem on students’ academic success in Calabar metropolis of Cross River State of Nigeria. Two hypotheses were raised to guide the study. Literature review was carried out accordingly based on the variables of the study. The random sampling technique was adopted which sampled three hundred and forty-five (345) students who were drawn from fifteen secondary schools which represented all the public secondary schools in the area of study. The Self-Esteem and Academic success questionnaire (SEASO) and Achievement Test in mathematics and English Language (ATMEL) were used to collect data. The independent t-test analysis was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings showed that there is a significant difference in the academic success of students with positive self-esteem than those with negative self-esteem. This implies that self-esteem significantly influences students’ academic success. Based on findings of the study, it was recommended that students should boost their self-esteem as it is an important factor that strengthens the prediction of academic success in Mathematics and English Language. There should be school counseling intervention in improving self-esteem among students. The study concluded that distance education has the potential to improve the lives of disabled persons when
adequately funded. The study recommended that the University should re-design its physical facilities in a
manner that suits students with special needs. The use of information technologies was also forwarded as a
more cost effective alternative to educate students with disabilities under the harsh economic environment faced
by Zimbabwean institutions.

Fuzzy Measurement of University Students Importance Indexes by Using Analytic...
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to apply a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process model FAHP for estimating students' importance indexes problem, where the measures of students' attitudes and responses are often uncertain or difficult to determine by using non-fuzzy model. Fuzzy set theory treats a kind of uncertainty called fuzziness. It shows that the boundary of “yes” or “no” is ambiguous and appears in the meaning of words or included in the subjunctives or recognition of human beings. Design/methodology/approach: This paper adapts FAHP to analysis students' satisfaction for the services submitted by the university to enhance learning process and circumstance environment for students, this area of researches is still out of university importance. For the purposes of the survey, questionnaires were designed for all the factors which are affecting in students' satisfaction and most probably all these factors are taken according to their suitable priority. There were five main criterions in the questionnaires. Criterion one focuses on administrative university services Si, the second criterion concentrate with teaching and learning process Ti, while the third criterion is university climate and student activities Ai, the fourth criterion covers the administrative facilities Fi, and the fifth criterion is learning facilities students Li, were asked to measure their perceived experiences with those criterions. Each criterion contains some of sub criteria. Findings: The results illustrate that the quality of teachers T1, Opportunities for recreational activities A1, fair evaluation for students T6, and remedial support A3 are the most important indexes for students. The proposed model would help decision-makers to enhancement the quality of the services and may be adding other facility to make the university more attractive. Research limitations/implications: This paper makes some assumptions such as the number of sample are taken from seven colleges only and not cover all colleges in the university and concentrated about the final levels. Originality/value: This paper introduces fuzzy theory with AHP approach to the research of university services as customers in public firms and it has reached some valuable conclusions, which has opened up a new field of study in the universities services area

Test Anxiety and Academic Achievement in Thiruvannamalai District
The present study planned to probe the effects of test anxiety on academic achievement of high school pupils. The respondents encompassed of 300 school pupils 158 boys and 142 girls studied in IX standard were selected by random basis from diverse high schools of Thiruvannamalai District. Prof. V. P. Sharma’s Test Anxiety Scale TAS was used to assess test anxiety and English Achievement Test EAT was used to carry out test and calculated the percentage of total marks attain by the students was measured as the academic achievement score. The outcome revealed that the result revealed that there is significant difference in Private school students have high anxiety when compared to Government School students. Nuclear family students achieve more in the academic of English when compared to Joint family students. Government school students achieve more in English when compared to Private school students. And also reveals that there is no significant difference between nuclear family and joint family in respect to their Test Anxiety. Lastly, the correlation result reveals that there exists a moderate Positive Correlation between Test Anxiety and Academic Achievement. Dr. R. Muthaiyan | J. The Personal and Intellectual Development of Students
We think we know some useful things about what happens to students on the way to a college degree. We still have to make some educated guesses as to why it happens, but perhaps research will gain more insight into causal factors in the next years. At this point, however, the sheer volume of information available has encouraged some pragmatically-inclined folks to try to condense and simplify the findings into something that teachers and administrators can and will read and use.
I confess that I am about to deliver yet another list - one that will not continue the upward count of things to do to improve education, but that will pull from the existing lists those items that I think are most relevant to the unique educational mission of the service academies. Since you know the educational characteristics of your academies far better than I, it may be presumptuous of me to attempt this feat, but breathe easy; my list has only six items. The first three are what might be called environmental factors that create the cumulative overall impact on the personal and intellectual development of students. These factors are most likely to affect attributes such as leadership and character. They are: 1) the coherence and reinforcement of a consistent educational message, 2) the socialization of the student into the values of the institution, and 3) the integration of education and experience. The second set of three items are instructional or classroom factors that promote the development of academic and intellectual skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and effectiveness in communication. The three items in that list are: 1) the communication of high expectations, 2) the encouragement of active student learning, and 3) the provision of assessment and prompt feedback.
Environmental Factors: The educational environment of the service academies is probably one of the most potentially potent that exists on any campus in the United States. Students are immersed in a consistent and reinforcing environment from the day they arrive to the day they graduate. Thus, I have listed coherence and reinforcement of the educational message as first on my list of research-documented characteristics known to have an impact on students. This characteristic represents one of your most distinctive departures from the average college campus. First and perhaps most powerfully, you are residential institutions. Your students live on campus and are subject 24 hours a day to the influence of the people and environment of your academies. That, says the research, makes for a peculiar potency that affects values, attitudes, self-concept, intellectual orientation, and a host of other personal variables that contribute to what you might call leadership and character.

Self-Esteem and Academic Success of Secondary School Students in Calabar Met...Research Journal of Education
The essence of this research was to investigate the influence of self-esteem on students’ academic success in Calabar metropolis of Cross River State of Nigeria. Two hypotheses were raised to guide the study. Literature review was carried out accordingly based on the variables of the study. The random sampling technique was adopted which sampled three hundred and forty-five (345) students who were drawn from fifteen secondary schools which represented all the public secondary schools in the area of study. The Self-Esteem and Academic success questionnaire (SEASO) and Achievement Test in mathematics and English Language (ATMEL) were used to collect data. The independent t-test analysis was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings showed that there is a significant difference in the academic success of students with positive self-esteem than those with negative self-esteem. This implies that self-esteem significantly influences students’ academic success. Based on findings of the study, it was recommended that students should boost their self-esteem as it is an important factor that strengthens the prediction of academic success in Mathematics and English Language. There should be school counseling intervention in improving self-esteem among students. Students should be trained on how to improve greatly in their self-esteem and academic efficacy.Trends and innovations in teaching large classes

This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
