Since I published a letter in 1996, critisising the use of preprinted assessment sheet, allowing nurses to work like doctors in the NHS(UK), the number of deaths, complications and wrong doings has escalated to catastrophic proportions. Doctors who continue to work are suffering in silence. The ones who raised concern were systamatically harassed, bullied and ostracised.
The institutions, associations, nursing council and the Royal Colleges and the WMA have ignored their duty to protect fellow human. I do not think we can claim to be members of a "Noble Profession" if we allow this un-ethical medical practice continues.
The General Medical Has not only ignored their duty to protect fellow human but also discriminated doctors passing out from Non-European medical schools by allowing nurses to work like doctors. This institution has failed to define the word "Doctor" and has inflicted pain and suffering to doctors who defend their moral and ethical duty.
Our profession and our lives are threatened by emerging and antibiotic resistant infections. We must join hands and defend our profession. By allowing nurses with no medical school training or skill to clinically examine patients to diagnose and prescribe drugs, we have failed to protect fellow human who trust our profession. This is substandard, un-ethical medical practice that has brought us shame must be stopped.

Becoming a Muslim is a simple and easy process. All that a person has to do is to say a sentence called the Testimony of Faith (Shahada), which is pronounced as:
“ashhadu alla ilaha ilal Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”
These Arabic words mean, “I testify that There is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God.”
Once a person says the Testimony of Faith (Shahada) with conviction and understanding its meaning, then he/she has become a Muslim.
Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes.
This is the definition of Allah/God from Qur’an:
1. Say, “He is God, the One.
2. God, the Absolute.
3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4. And there is nothing comparable to Him.”

The Quran answers such questions as where we came from, why we exist and what we should do. This Book describes the existence, the unity, the power and the mercy of God. The Quran speaks of God, and introduces God as the Merciful, the Creator and the Forgiver. The description of God is the most important message of the Quran.
In order to worship God, we have to know Him well otherwise we may form a distorted concept of Him and then go astray. God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine and he is the only one worthy of worship.

Compassion acknowledges our common hopes and struggles, and motivates us to help those in need without consideration of social barriers. Islam teaches Muslims to develop empathy, give help to others in times of need, and act with compassion, as the Prophet said roughness disgraces while compassion is loved by Allah.
Humility
Humility means understanding that others' experiences are as important as our own and recognizing our limitations. It involves seeing both our own faults and the strengths in others, acknowledging what we have been given and recognizing how little we truly know. Humility opens us to growth, love, and treating all people justly by not feeling superior or committing injustice against another.
Repentance
Repentance involves feeling shame for wrongdoings and making amends. When repenting, one turns away from old harmful behaviors and commits to better actions. Without remorse or repentance, growth is impossible as we are doomed to repeat mistakes if we cannot see errors and the harm caused. Repentance does not require self-loathing, but abandoning the former behaviors or attitudes. When overly focused on self-criticism, there is less energy for repairing harm caused. Repentance is easier when recognizing everyone sins and cherishing understanding and grace.
Integrity
Integrity means being honest, upright, and keeping one's word. It requires internal honesty and self-awareness to accurately communicate with others. People of integrity can be trusted to do what is right even when unpopular and maintain their commitments. For Muslims, integrity is especially important as it means honoring what has been entrusted to them and fulfilling their promises, as encouraged by Islam. The Prophet Muhammad said that those with four traits of lying, breaking promises, betraying covenants, and quarreling in an imprudent manner have traits of hypocrisy.
Kindness
Kindness means recognizing our power over others and choosing to help rather than hurt them. It requires empathy to understand others' experiences and know how to make them feel good. Kindness builds confidence by seeing others' humanity rather than putting them on pedestals. While kindness is not given expecting repayment, it often inspires others to also act with kindness which spreads goodwill more broadly.
Types of Heart
The document discusses three types of hearts:
1. The healthy heart is cleansed from passions that contradict Allah's commands and seeks judgement only from Allah and his messenger. It exclusively serves Allah willingly.
2. The dead heart does not know or worship Allah as commanded and instead clings to lusts and desires. It worships things other than Allah.

However, the king was unable to lift the heavy sacks, showing he could not bear the burden of the land on Judgment Day for unlawfully taking it. The king realized his mistake and returned the land to the widow.
Painfully Tormented

Moderation is key in both friendships and enmities. One should love friends moderately so they don't become enemies, and dislike enemies moderately in case they become friends. Oversharing personal details with friends risks them using that information against you if the friendship sours, while mistreating enemies could later embarrass you if the relationship improves. It's wise to remain balanced in relationships as people and circumstances change.
Three Men
This hadith discusses three types of men that the Prophet Muhammad took an oath about: [1] Men whose wealth is not reduced by charity, as spending in the way of Allah replenishes wealth. [2] Men who are honored by Allah for showing patience in the face of oppression rather than retaliation. [3] Men who open themselves to begging and poverty by stretching out their hands to others rather than depending on Allah.

Fruits of Striving
- 2. Man can have nothing but what he strives for. The fruit of his striving will soon come into sight. Then he will be rewarded with a full recompense.
- 3. For all committed people the above passage carries an inspiring message. It is especially relevant for institutions engaged in training younger generations, for it contains an elaborate moral code and set of guidelines for the young.
- 4. The Promise Allah has promised man that he will obtain success in his striving. It is emphasized in the Quran that man's efforts will bear fruit. As to the time-scale of gathering the fruit of one's striving, the Quran hints that this may take a very long time. Man is thus told not to despair if he does not gain immediate results. Man is to be credited for much in the world - the vast empires, the rise of various civilizations, the spread and advancement of knowledge, and intellectuals appearing on the public scene. All these are manifestations of man's striving.
- 5. Knowledge Without Action Abstract knowledge alone will neither increase us in power, nor strengthen our situation. Likewise if By the same principle, if a man read a brave warrior in possession of ten a hundred thousand theories, they Indian swords and other weapons would be of no use to him if he did not was alone in the wilderness, and a try and apply them. Therefore, if we great ferocious lion attacked him, do studied a hundred years and we think the weapons could defend collected a thousand books, we would him if they were not used against the not be prepared for the Mercy of lion? Three Principles to Remember ❖ From this verse three important principles can be derived: ❖ that every person will get only the fruit of his own deeds; ❖ that the fruit of one person's deeds cannot be given to another unless he has a share in that deed; ❖ that none can attain anything in the Hereafter without the desire to strive for it.
- 7. Some people wrongly apply these principles to the economic problems of the world and conclude that no person can become the lawful owner of anything except of his or her own earned income. While Islam encourages everyone to work hard to earn their own livelihood, there are provisions, such as Zakat and inheritance laws that allow one person's income to be transferred to others on the basis of their moral and legal entitlement.
