This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.

Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

Freight elevator is means of vertical transportation in factories and warehouses, and is
utilized to transport goods, equipments, tools safely and high productively. Freight elevator
need to have a firm, endurable, safe and highly reliable design.
Load, speed, cabin size, height entrance or door opening is belong to diverse requirements
of each factory, warehouse.
A factory built multi-stories with concrete structure can use machine room gear freight
elevator.
A multi-floor factory with concrete structure can use machine room gear freight elevator.
A factory with metal roofing, or with to restricted height of top floor can use hydraulic
freight elevator or machine room less elevator.
Hydraulic Freight elevator with high load can work safely, yet, its weak point is low speed
(9 – 30m/min) and more energy consumption.
Machine Room Less Gear-Type Freight elevator has many advantages, such as higher
operation frequency, faster speed and less power consumption.
In case of the demand of a high load and of many floors/stops, a traction machine can
be located below.
Door clearance is an important requirement, usually a freight elevator needs wide door
opening and uses horizontal sliding door type with 2S, 3S, 4PCO, 6PCO with door opening
from 1000mm - 3000mm.
In case of the demand of a wide door clearance and restricted hoistway width , up/down
sliding door type 2U, 3U with door opening from 2500mm - 5000mm should be used.
For the higher demands, the price of freight elevator is higher than the one of a passenger
elevator which has the same load and speed. Consequently, factories manufacturing
light goods and having small scale of production should use passenger elevator with more
simple design to reduce cost.

Construction of the machine room in accordance
with shop drawing provided by Thien Nam. The
walls and the celling shall be finished with water-
proof plaster. Door equipped with a lock.

ñi caùp, daây ñieän giöõa phoøng maùy vaø hoá thang.

Boá trí loái ñi, thang leân phoøng maùy, thang leo phaûi
coù tay vòn, chieàu ngang toái thieåu 700 mm.
Corridor, stairway, ladder to the machine room
should be unpbstructed. Stairs should be
equipped with handrails and 700 mm minimum in
width.
Heä thoáng thoâng gioù: laép ñaët caùc lam thoâng gioù,
quaït thoâng gioù ñaûm baûo nhieät ñoä trong phoøng
maùy döôùi 40o
c. Ñoä aåm töông ñoái trung bình haøng
thaùng döôùi 90% vaø 95% trong ngaøy.
Ventilation: installing ventillation grilles, ventilation
fans. The temperature of the machine room shall
be below 40o
c. The relative humidity should not
exceed 90% monthly average and 95% daily
average.
Heä thoáng chieáu saùng: laép ñaët caùc cöûa soå laáy aùnh
saùng töï nhieân, ñeøn chieáu saùng vaø baûng coâng taéc
ñeøn.
Lighting: setting natural lighting windows, fluorescent
lamps and switch.
Cung caáp nguoàn ñieän ñeán phoøng maùy : 01 baûng
ñieän nguoàn, bao goàm 03 daây pha (380v - 50hz), 01
daây trung tính, 01 daây noái. Dao ñoäng ñieän aùp cho
pheùp: +5%

Chöøa thoâ laép cöûa taàng, hoäp goïi taàng. Hoaøn thieän
xung quanh cöûa taàng sau khi laép ñaët.

Provision separated beams if two or more
connected elevators in one hoistway & safely
separated fence between the pits.
Caùc oáng nöôùc, ñieän, caùp... Khoâng ñöôïc laép ñaët
beân trong hoá thang.
Water pipes, electrical wires..ect, must not be
assembles inside hoistway.
Laép ñaët caùc ñaø giöõa taàng ñoái vôùi nhöõng taàng coù
ñoä cao taàng treân 3000 mm.
Provision intermediate beams if floor height is over
3000 mm.
