The project proposal titled 'Free Me! (Stand for Freedom)' aims to address the concepts of freedom and self-expression through an interactive video art installation. It features a video of a woman with her mouth sealed, which changes to show her smiling and speaking when viewers step onto a designated spot, engaging them with publicly sourced opinions on freedom. The project's objective is to educate and motivate audiences about their rights to express themselves in a constrained environment.

Problem Issues:
Based on my previous research and ideation, I realize that everybody has their own
opinion about liberated and freedom themselves. But not all of them can free to
speak from what they think because limitation of their environment lifestyle.
Objectives:
a) To give the information at the audience about meaning of freedom thinking
from their life using a medium of art
b) To motivated audience that everyone has their right about their think and what
they want and they also need to know that freedom doesn’t mean they are free to
do what they like without think what will happen if they do it.
c) To create a confident, brave and principled emotion

3. PROJECT PROPOSAL
Synopsis of Project:
This project will screen the video that show the whole body image of women with
her mouth sealed by duct tape. Once the audience step up into the hotspot that
already located on invisible spot, the video scene will change. The new video will
show that women’s mouth sealed will open and she gives her smile to the audience.
If the audience stays at that spot, the voice will automatically come out from the
system. The voice output randomly takes a content provided from data taken
through a view on the freedom of public opinion. This data actually compilation
from public review that show their side of view and expression about freedom
Themselves. The text also will show on screen as a second method message to
the audience following the voice output.

Video art is relies on moving picture comprises video and audio. The wor

it can feature audio, multiple monitors, is often narrative-free and can

I am using Microsoft Lifecam HD-6000 for trigger setup
Review about this camera:-
With 720p HD video quality at 30 frames per second, 360-degree rotation and
inexpensive, i think this camera really valuable for me to use my experimental
for this project.
Trigger Setup and experiment:-
Basically my application need a user to give a key press to give a signal and change
to next scene. So, i need a third party software than can convert from motion
detection to key press.

Video in DSLRs might be a relatively new phenomenon, but the technology
(and its implementation) is proceeding in leaps and bounds. Because its small and the
Quality of video more sharp than handy camera, I will use DSLR camera
Method to record the scene for my project
The 550D offers progressive HD video capture at 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p) at 30,
25 or 24 frames per second, or 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) at 60 or 50 frames per
second (available frame rates differ depending on whether you have the camera
set to NTSC or PAL). The built-in internal microphone captures monaural audio,
but there is also a socket for a 3.5mm external microphone that allows recording of

Green Screen Technique (Chroma Key)
The Chroma Key Color Transition in Video Edit Magic is one such tool. Also known as the Green or
Blue Screen technique, it can help you create truly startling illusions.
Basically, in this technique a subject is shot in front of a green or blue screen. (Any solid color will work,
but these two are the most common.) Video Edit Magic then removes this color from the video clip,
and fills in the empty space with the picture from another video clip, or a still picture. A good example
is the weather reports shown on television. The video is created by combining a video with an animation.
The video shows weatherman standing in front of a green screen while the animation displays Maps and
graphics. The green background of the video is replaced by the animation.

Wanted to collect voice of Malaysian about what they think for their freedom and

Every citizen who lives in independence country should have their right and free to speak up
about what they think and what they need. The lack of this situation is not everyone feel freedom themselves
