Times Two
I think most of you know that I like to set goals and we all know that the start of a
new year is a great time to get focused on some new goals or even readjust your
existing ones. I have some personal goals for this year that maybe we can talk
about another time, but today Iād like to talk about my goals for our business. I
canāt take all the credit for the business goals as there are a lot of people involved
in setting the direction for our company. Our executive team meets with Rex and
sets some targets, we present them to our leaders around the world, listen to their
feedback, make some adjustments and then, its time to go to work!
After going through this process over the past few months,
we have come up with a simple goal that is going to
stretch all of us. But, if we all get involved and accept the
challenge the effect on our businesses and our company
will be incredible!
Our goal is to double sales! Thatās it! Itās as simple as that.
If we can double our sales, we can help twice as many
people all over the world look better and feel better.
I know what you might be thinking and, youāre right! Itās
an ambitious goal but thatās exactly what the best kind of
goals are. They are the goals that keep you striving every
day to do a little bit more. Hopefully, many of you have set
goals like this for yourself. We recognize that it might take
some time to achieve this goal but, thatās okay because we
also recognize that anything worth doing is worth the wait!
Doubling our sales wonāt just come from talking about it.
It will take hard work and passion and maybe even a little
blood, sweat and tears. Just imagine the payoff of all of
that hard work ā twice the customers, twice the revenue,
twice the people whose lives have been changed for
the better, all because of your actions. Thatās incredibly
powerful.
So, where do we begin? Doubling our sales starts at the
very base of what you do every day. Do you normally
speak to five people a day about the products and
opportunity? Make it a goal to reach out to 10. Do you host
one opportunity meeting online or in your community each
week? Why not two? Do you normally do two in home
product launches a monthā¦ you see where Iām going
with this. By finding ways to double every activity in your
business, youāll create double the customers, product
enthusiasts, brand advocates, supervisors, managers,
eagle managersā¦ you get the idea.
This activity is the base of our business. There is no
shortcut, no easy path to success and no quick way to
double our sales. I know that but, by doubling even the
most basic activities in your business, you will recognize
the power and importance of each of these tasks. I realize
this change wonāt happen overnight. It will take you time
to adjust to these new activities in your business, but I
challenge you to rise to the occasion. You have nothing to
lose but untapped potential and opportunity.

who could not handle the fear caused by the cockroach?
Therefore it is not the shouting of your father or your boss
or your spouse that disturbs you, but your inability to handle
the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs you.
It's never the traffic jams on the road that disturb you but
your inability to handle the situation!
More than the problem, it is often our reaction to the
problem that creates chaos in our lives. Is there any
lesson to be learnt from this story? Understand that we
should not react in life, we should always respond. The
women reacted, whereas the waiter responded, reactions
are always instinctive whereas responses are mostly well
thought through. A person who is happy is not because
everything is right in his/her life. They are happy because
their attitude towards everything in their lives is Right! It all

I came across the following many years ago and Iād
like to share it with you, itās a cockroach theory for self-
development. People are enjoying themselves in a
restaurant, and a cockroach suddenly appears from
somewhere and sat on this lady. She started screaming out
of fear and with a panic stricken face and trembling voice,
she started jumping with both her hands desperately trying
to get rid of the cockroach. Her reaction was contagious so
everyone in her group also got panicky.
The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away, but
it landed on another lady in the group. Now it was the turn
of the other lady in the group to continue the drama. The
waiter rushed forward to their rescue and in the relay of
throwing, the cockroach fell on the waiter. The waiter stood
firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the
cockroach on his shirt.
When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his
fingers and threw it out of the restaurant. What is happening
here, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic
behavior? If so why was the waiter not disturbed, he handled
it near to perfection, without any chaos?

I live in Ghatkopar, Mumbai and would like
to share my personal experience with the
products of Forever Living that I have been
using for the last 7 to 8 years. I am suffering
from diabetes, high lipid profile, cholesterol
and high triglycerides serum. So I was under
a lot of medication to keep my profile under
control, but there was no satisfactory result to
bring down these levels. Sometime later, I got

your online printed forms and the supporting documentation
to complete your registration process until the last day of the
month, however the system will require one working day for the
process to be completed and for the information to reflect in
our regional offices.

ā¢ Bonus Payments through cheque will incur a deduction of Rs
50/-. Please sign-up for Electronic Clearance using our ECS
Form available at www.foreverliving.com. Please note this form
is also given to you with your application prospectus
ā¢ The minimum Bonus Payment each month is Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two
hundred fifty). If the bonus earned in a month is less than the
minimum limit, the bonus will be paid once the accumulated
bonus payment crosses the minimum limit criteria i.e. Rs 250/-
or at the end of the Financial Year.
