FOSTAC is a nationwide food safety training program initiated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) aimed at educating food business operators on food safety regulations. It mandates that every food business with a central or state license should employ at least one trained food safety supervisor for every 25 food handlers to ensure compliance and promote hygiene. True Welfare Society supports this initiative by providing vocational training and skills to empower communities, especially women and adolescents, in the food industry.
