Marmoleum, the world-leading linoleum collection, can be found in
schools, hospitals, offices, retail outlets and other public buildings
around the world. Marmoleum is often chosen due to its natural
beauty and outstanding performance. Amongst others, Marmoleum
offers excellent durability, being resistant to heavy loads and castor
indentation, as well as resistance to cigarette burns. Due to its natu-
ral make up, Marmoleum possesses inherent bacteriostatic proper-
ties making it the ideal flooring solution for a healthy environment.
A Marmoleum floor is not only a functional floor. Marmoleum opens
up the possibility of using the floor as integral part of the overall
colour and design process of any interior. The extensive colour
palette and design options provide endless possibilities, with the
only limit being your imagination. Use tiles from the Marmoleum
Dual collection to create very strong or very sophisticated colour
effect. Use welding rods to create a unique pattern. Or be inspired
by this brochure and choose a design from the Aquajet collection to
create the desired effect.

3. Life-cycle analysis shows that, ecologically, Marmoleum is
the preferred floor covering. Manufactured from linseed
oil, rosin, wood flour, limestone, pigments and jute, it is
fully bio-degradable. The main ingredient – linseed oil – is
extracted from the seeds of the flax plant and mixed with
pine rosin. Then wood flour derived from timber grown in
renewable forests is used to give body to the product and
to enhance the beautiful colours created with ecologically
responsible pigments. Thanks to its fine structure, lime-
stone is a valuable ingredient of virtually all smooth floor
coverings, including Marmoleum. For the backing we use
jute, once again only the most natural of materials.

Aquajet cutting technology enables reproduction
of the most intricate designs and allows for end-
less creativity. A fine computer-controlled jet of
water at very high pressure is used to cut through
the material.

4. The unique Marmoleum designs produced
with the Aquajet technique have been
applied in numerous applications all over

6. With the Mosaic and Gingham tiles it is
possible to create a distinct wall to wall
flooring design. The tiles can also be
applied as loose inset or in combination
with other tiles from the Marmoleum Dual
collection. The Mosaic and Gingham are
