 Urban Riot will predominately focus on R&B, Hip
Hop and Rap music. But will have the odd band
in there from a different genre.
 From the questionnaire I gathered NME was the
most popular magazine.
 Nme looks at all genres. I want to bring this
element in slightly and include different genre
artists/bands.
 From my questionnaire I noticed many of my
target audience had named several rap artists.
Some of these will be mentioned on the front
cover so that it looks appealing to them.
 I had thought of many names for my music
magazine.
 This names were..
 The final decision I have gone for is „Urabn
Riot‟
 Urban Riot is the perfect name as it sounds
catchy and my target audience will
remember it.
 The masthead will be shown in preferably a
graffiti font. This will tie in with the genre of
my magazine and will also appeal to my
target audience.
 A Artisit.
 Why?
 I will feature just an artist as the genre of
music my magazine focuses on artists are
usually more independent than in bands.
 There are several colour schemes that I would
have on my magazine.
 I wanted to go for a monochrome theme with a
splash of colour.
 The splash of colour will be something bright so
that it stands out on the front cover and will
attract readers.
 I may choose the “splash” of colour when it
comes to seeing how the final front cover
pictures come out like and what the main colour
in it is.
 Im hoping whatever I choose looks professional
and stands out to my target audience.
 The magazine will cost between £1-£3.99
 Any ideas on how much I should definitely
price it at?
 Cheaper or more expensive?
 Why?
 Think about what is affordable to you…
 I hope that the magazine that I create
appeals to you as you‟ve given me some fab
feedback that I can now work from.
Thanks again group!
