This document describes experiments to artificially age and saturate images to make them look like they are from the early 1990s or before. The author practiced applying this effect to different images to learn how to do it for use in a magazine they were creating, where some photos would be made to look older or ruined to fit the desired style.

2. This experiment was to find
the process of making an
image look old, and saturated
by the sun, as if it was from
the early 90s or before. I did
this a few times. The first one
was the following image to
the left. I also edited this
same image but made it look
older. The reason that I
experimented with this was
to learn how to do this style
to images as I wanted to do
this in my magazine to fit in
with the style.

4. Here I did the same with making the image look older
than it is. This was once again to learn how to do this to
images for the future of making my magazine. I wanted
to do this as many times as possible so that when it
came to making my magazine I didn’t have to research
how to do it.

5. With this image I wanted to experiment making an image
look much older than it is, as in my magazine I was going to
make some images look older than they are as well as
ruined.
