Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is a
two component, extrudable, low density,
epoxy syntactic material.

Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is designed for
applications requiring a high degree of
flammability resistance combined with low
smoke density and toxicity.
Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is a fast curing syntactic supporting
weight reduction thanks to its low density.

  • 1. Advanced Materials   1622 FST A/B Aerospace low density epoxy syntactic Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is a two component, extrudable, low density, epoxy syntactic material. Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is designed for applications requiring a high degree of flammability resistance combined with low smoke density and toxicity. Epocast® 1622 FST A/B is a fast curing syntactic supporting weight reduction thanks to its low density. Applications in aerospace and transport interiors > Honeycomb panel reinforcement > Edge closeout > Panel Joining > Fastener potting Key features > Fast gel time of 15 minutes > oom temperature (3 to 5 days) R or heat cure (3 to 5 hours at 55°C) FST properties (meets FAR 25.853) Low Density of 0.77 High compressive strength Thixotropic paste No SVHC as defined under REACH Available in Semkit cartridges for easy use
