This document discusses building a real-time fantasy sports analytics pipeline. It uses Kafka to ingest player and game data streams. Spark Streaming performs real-time scoring updates. Spark batch jobs run on HDFS for administrative queries and user/player analytics. Cassandra serves the application programming interface (API) for users and analysts. The pipeline aims to provide real-time scoring and historical analytics at scale for a large user base.
