The Florida Project Limited was started in agriculture by founders Mr. Galabuzi Romano and Muliika George. The objectives were to establish a vegetable garden, banana plantation, and piggery at St. Mary's College Kisubi. Achievements include supplying vegetables to the college and neighbors. A banana plantation and piggery with 20 pigs were also started. Future prospects are to expand banana production and the piggery, develop the diary farm, and build processing plants with support from organizations and individuals.

 BACK GROUND.
 The Florida project was started as a small and profound project ready to excel in the
different fields of agriculture in particular plant and animal husbandry.
 Florida project had its Genesis starting with the founders and these are Mr. Galabuzi
Romano and Muliika George who have worked tirelessly to see it a success. In this
field, Florida has stayed for some good years.
 APPRECIATION.
 We are grateful or the good health and life endowed to us by God almighty and the
wisdom he imparts to us through the Holy Spirit. Secondly we would wish to thank the
USEP family or body for the training and the support they have accorded us to see that
we are what we are today.
 OBJECTIVES
 The Florida project limited has had numerous objectives and these include;
 To have a garden of vegetables
 To have a banana plantation
 To have a piggery
 Processing plants for the products from these projects.

3.  ACHEIVEMENTS
 The Florida project limited has reached to a number of successful stories which include among others.
 With the start of the vegetable garden at st. Mary’s college Kisubi, Florida has been able to yield a lot of harvest. We have gotten a lot of output from
our micro project by then. Florida has supplied the vegetable to SMACK where by the teaching, non teaching staff and the students body have al
benefited and enjoyed the vegetables from our gardens.
 Florida has had a supply of Greens, sukumawiki, carrots and so many other vegetables not only to SMACK but also other surrounding neighbors. This
has greatly increased on the income we get thereby helping us to earn a living and also to pay school dues for our children.
 We have also started up a banana plantation at the Smack campus in Kisubi. This has started to yield generous harvests.
 Florida project limited has also ventured into the field of animal husbandry whereby we have also started the rearing of the pigs on a small scale. So far
in this project we have around 20 pigs and also reared something like 15 herds of cattle. This has helped the community to enjoy numerous benefits too
in form of milk, pork and many others.
 FUTURE PROSPECTS
 We would wish to come up with a groomed and well organized large scale farming plantation of banana such that we can increase on our production
and sales.
 We would wish also to enlarge our farm rearing pigs (piggery) such that we can have pigs for our own consumption and those we can sell to outside
markets...
 The projrct anticipates developing on the diary farm which we already have but still has some requirements we are lacking like the machine for
processing the milk and other equipments.
 They got project has got a large input needed in terms of land for expansion , the need for the milk processors and the meat cutting and processing
plant.
 Conclusion
 In conclusion we call upon humanitarian agencies, individuals, governments and the different NGO’s to help us achieve this noble cause as youths of
this 21st century such that we can sustain our lives and the lives of the people to come such that Uganda stays a land of our today and future dreams.
