THE GANPATIPULE BEACH EXPERIENCE:
DAY 01: MUMBAI – GANPATIPULE:
Morning, pick up from your Mumbai Hotel at 0630 hours. Leave for Ganpatipule by road (357 km). Arrive Ganpatipule
and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure on the beach. (Clean white sand beach, not safe for swimming as it is
rocky, but kayaking is possible) also visit the Ganpatiphule Temple (4.00 pm to 5.00 pm only). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: Ganpatipule
Morning after breakfast, leave for Jaigad Fort (35 km from Ganpatiphule) Though the fort is in ruins, the exterior walls
are intact and houses the Jaigad Lighthouse and three deep wells. Afternoon visit the Swayambhu Ganpati Temple
(20 km from Ratnagiri) is built of (pule) white sand and is believed to be self originated – it is not man made. Evening
at leisure on the Ganapatipule beach. Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 03: Ganpatipule – Mumbai
Morning after breakfast, spend time at the beach. Later check out of the hotel and leave for Mumbai. (357 km)
Enroute halt at Sangameshwar to visit the Shiva Temple, constructed in the old Hemadpanthi style, the carvings in the
temple are very beautiful. There is also a memorial of Sambhaji Maharaj nearby who was captured here by the
Mughals. Arrive Mumbai and drop at your Mumbai Hotel / Chatrapati Shivaji Int. Airport / CST Terminus for onward
destination. Tour ends. (B)
