Editing In First Love
Editing plays a key role in demonstrating the theme of first love in the two scenes. The first scene
we see the editing is slow in the beginning because of the use of long takes. Similar to his use of
the camera to show the aimlessness of Sam's life before Suzy the editing also reveals that to the
audience. As Sam wanders back stage we follow his gaze as he observes various cast members
preparing. The shots are normally over 7 seconds long, until the camera shifts to where Sam is
gazing: that is when the shots are shorter than 7 seconds. The audience is forced to focus on Sam
and his solitude. That is until he meets Suzy. Decoupage editing is used in this part of the scene to
create the connection between him and Suzy. The also interesting

The Theme of Love in First Love, My Last Duchess and Remember
'First love', 'My Last Duchess' and 'Remember' all share the theme 'loss of love' which is
presented in many different ways. These poems are known to be some of the best love poems of
their time, written over a hundred years ago. 'Remember' and 'My Last Duchess,' deal with death
as a result of the relationship. The poems are all presented in the first person, which portrays a more
dramatic mood as we emphasise with the subject. They are all told/written in a male's point of view,
this is interesting because society only expects women to express their emotions towards love.

"My heart has left its dwelling place, and can return no more." In all these poems the relationships
between the poems and their lovers are very similar. In 'First love' the relationship ended after a long
chase for a special being, with a sad rejection, "Is loves bed always snow?"
This shows that the subject was heartbroken as a result of the ending of his imaginary relationship.
Where as in 'My Last Duchess' we are told that the relationship ending with the Dukes last duchess

Essay about Love
Love
Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great
writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful
emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently.
Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be
experienced in many different ways.
People experience love for the first time by being part of a family. Family love is demonstrated
through lessons of sacrifice, concern and compassion, from the cradle to the grave. There are many
different levels and conditions of family love. It is the love we cherish between our intermediate
family and our...show more content...
A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship
between two males, two females, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into
love. In no way is it a romantic love, but this type of love connects and bonds friends. Friends may
move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever.
Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at
the beginning, but grows within the individual. When one finally finds the love they have been
looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two
souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as
well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can only imagine what it might be like to be in love.
Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a
wonderful feeling.
To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of
love. The only way to capture the true meaning of love is to experience the feeling and find out
for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between
family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious

It is universally acknowledged that the memories of a first love linger throughout a lifetime
because they are so powerful and equally unforgettable. As a result of the experiences of a first love,
breaking up can be one of the most devastating feelings in the world. In Jane Austen's last book titled
Persuasion, Anne and Captain Wentworth enact a classic tale of firstlove. What is unique about
Anne and Captain Wentworth is that they did not fall out of love initially or even 8 years later.
After eight years of separation, suffering, and suppressed feelings, upon seeing each other again
both Anne and Frederick display a series of behaviors that demonstrate their love isn't just a case of

because this is the first time in several years that a Wentworth last name has even been referenced. In
response, Anne's cheeks "flush" and she seeks "comfort" in the cold because Captain Wentworth
makes her hot and uncomfortable. Although the person being referenced is not, in fact, Captain
Wentworth but his brother, Anne, after all these years, is still affected by the mention of the
Wentworth name. Like with any first lover, seeing them in public or hearing their name can cause
an unexpected stir of emotion and intertwined memories. Because Anne never fell out of love with
Captain Wentworth and her love for him was merely hidden away and never resolved, having him in
her life again is extremely overwhelming for her.
When Captain Wentworth finally arrives in Uppercross, Anne is overcome with love and actively
tries to make sense of what has changed since she last saw him, often leading to confusion and
contradiction. Anne and her family plan to visit Captain Wentworth, however, Anne stays behind to
take care of a young injured relative. She thinks that "she knew herself to be of the first utility to
the child; and what was it to her, if Frederick Wentworth were only half a mile distant, making
himself agreeable to others!" (110). Instead of focusing her attention on the young boy she instead
focuses on the proximity of

Different Types of Love Essay
"Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; love
is a growing up." –James A. Baldwin. The author, Baldwin talks about the fact that we assume love
starts once you meet that person and it ends when you die, but love is everlasting and is a part of
you from the very beginning. In his quote he also says that we will face different types of love, while
growing up. Films are made about it, books, songs, and poems are written. Artists draw, paint and
sculpt from inspiration of it and people spend their entire lives waiting for it. In dictionaries love is
defined as a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection but it is more than just a deep
connection. Its more than deep connections...show more content...
This is why mother sends out more of a warm fuzzy feeling than the father. Family love is the type
of love that every human being encounters throughout his or her lifetime. It's the very first and
less painful type of love. Parental love isn't the only part of family love. Sibling love is a big part
to. Sibling rivalry starts when the second child is born and the 1st child starts to feel alienated and
abandoned. Even though siblings are like archenemies, they have the most caring love. Since they
are closer through blood, they have the ability to protect each other and fight for each other.
Another main type of love is the love that is felt towards friends. This love is felt less when younger
because when you are younger you are accompanied more by parental love and attention. But when
grown older, parents become busier that the kid will start creating their own bonds and connections
with other children their age. This would start a friendship. After people make new friends they start
to become more dependent and more trusting until they feel like they are one person with their
friend. Having common interests, similar history, common values, and equality draws people to be
together as friends. Psychologically when one friend feels pain the other friend feels it because of
the bond created between them. In their mind they have automatically "connected" themselves with
that person. But friendship is the hardest to find because you're not

My First Love Essay
Having a first love can change your life for the better in so many ways. My first love did that and
much more. The best part of it I didn't expect any of it. The first time I was introduced to her I
was working at a place called smoothie king. I remember her walking in she was stunning
basically, breath taking. I've never seen anyone as gorgeous as her. When she first walked in the
first thing I noticed was her long slick hair and a smile of an angel. Her eyes where amazing as a
result I would just get lost in them. The crazy part was I've never felt that way for anyone else. I
would just get this pulsing rushing feeling throughout my whole body. If someone could actually
give me that feeling I knew they were precious. So, I started to talk to her more and I really felt
this strong connection forming between us. The more we hanged out the more my life became
great. Just being around her and the things, we did I felt my life heading in a direction that was
so perfect. Having that feeling that someone appreciates you was so valuable to me. I started to
see myself through someone else's eyes wondering what I could do to be a better person. That's
exactly what I did. I saw myself being more grateful and understanding. There were also things
I've always wanted to do in my life but I could never do because I was either unhappy or didn't
have someone to do it with therefore with her I was able to do all of it. She really did change my
life for the better and I can't thank her enough. My first love really did make me feel like I wanted
to go out and experience the world like I've never have before. Even something so small like
going skating was huge for me. Our first date we actually, went skating. That night made me
realize even having someone there with you while you do something fun and that you both like
is an experience I will never forget and cherish till this day. I was full of joy and excitement of
how much bonding we were doing. I was never so giving but I caught myself buying everything
that night when I usually wont. We skated for hours trying to impress each other with fancy skate
tricks. She made me feel so different but in a good way. I felt like I would absorb all her likings. She

Analysis Of Judith Ortiz Cofer 's First Love
People change and grow through their experiences and conflicts. For example, just 2 years ago I
was a sixth grader. There was a lot more homework than I ever had in my non–accelerated / magnet
elementary school. I had to work harder and for longer hours, but as a result, I was much more
mature and knowledgeable. I improved my work habits and increased my concentration. In Judith
Ortiz Cofer's "First Love", a 14 year old girl is in love with a high school senior. She does everything
she can to try to see him more often. At the end, she thinks she learns the true meaning of love. In
Richard Wright's "The Street", a boy has to go shopping for food, but he is constantly stopped by
a gang who beats him up. At the end, he beats up the gang with a stick his mother gave him
because he had to to return home. In both "The Street" by Richard Wright and "First Love" by
Judith Ortiz Cofer, the characters start out as shy and naive, but end up as aware and wiser as a
result of their respective conflicts.
For example, in "First Love", the main character (the author) was very naive. She didn't know
much about love, and was lovesick. This is shown in the second paragraph, where she states, "I
fell in love, or my hormones awakened from their long slumber in my body, and suddenly the goal
of my days was focused on one thing: to catch a glimpse of my secret love." This shows she was
lovesick because her only goal changed from school to love. She is naive due to the fact that her
priorities are

Essay on My First Love-Personal Narrative
My First Love–Personal Narrative I once jumped off a two–story building just to prove how much I
adored a girl. At the early age of eight, I have to admit that I was already a kid full of hormones. I
have always known that I am attracted to the opposite sex. I love being around them, but I was
always too shy to express my feelings towards them. Sandra was the kind of girl that any guy
would fall in love with the minut he laid his eyes on her. Like a goddess, she had long silky hair,
big sparkling eyes, and the most luscious lips. The first time I saw Sandra was on the first day of
my first grade. I was immediately attracted to her. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen at
that point of my life. I knew right at that...show more content...
I immediately called for God and I begged the Almighty to have Sandra sit next to me. When I
heard Sandra and my name in the same sentence, I knew in that moment that God answered my
prayer. Sandra and I were both voted to be the class president by popular votes. I am very shy. Yet,
I have this personality or look that just attracts people to their liking. Sandra was also very
popular mainly due to her beauty. Because it was a close race, the teacher decided that Sandra and
I should both be the class president. The class president's duty was to keep the class in an orderly
manner whenever the teacher was not around. We would hear students' complaints about other
students and help keep the peace in the class. Because of the seating situation and our shared
responsibilities as peace officers, Sandra and I got to be very close. However, we were only best
friend and nothing more. I never told Sandra how I felt about her but I think she figured it out
somehow. I also had a friend named Nick who was also attracted to Sandra. Nick and I never had a
problem both liking the same girl. We often goofed around and told each other what we would do
if Sandra were to be with one of us. Although Nick was better looking than I was, that did not stop
me from giving up. I knew I had to find a way to tell Sandra how I felt about her even if she already
sensed it. One day while playing on the roof of our classroom as we often did, Sandra commented
that a

Heartbreaker vrs. Sweetheart Essay
Heartbreaker vrs. Sweetheart From my dating experiences in the past, I have come to realize that of
all the different guys that there are two main types. The first one I call the heartbreaker and the
other is the sweetheart. This observation, that I have made, is not based on appearance, and it is
mostly based on my own opinion.
When I was in high school I dated the football star, who was the most popular guy in school, and I
thought it was the best thing that could happen... until I got to know him. This guy was very
possessive, controlling, and extremely cocky. He was a heartbreaker type and luckily enough, I
realized that before it was too late! The typical heartbreaker type is usually a very aggressive, selfish
person. He...show more content...
Many of theses guys are scared of getting hurt, themselves, so they feel as if they're being protective
of themselves from being hurt by avoiding any kind of emotional attachment with a female. These
guys will also have low self esteems, but they hide this by pretending they love who they are, and
acting conceited. This in turn forces them to put others down to boost themselves up. This
heartbreaker guy is not respectful of the girls he dates. Some of these guys think of girls as being
just another name on their list of sexual accomplishments. I always try to avoid this kind of guy, but
sometimes it's hard to spot them out because they are very manipulative and deceitful.
Not all guys fall into that category, though. I have a loving boyfriend who is never selfish, hateful,
or uncaring. He is very trustworthy and I can count on him as my best friend as well as my partner
in our relationship. He is the kind of guy I call the sweetheart. This caring individual is honest,
passive, gentle, and most always trustworthy. You don't have to worry about this guy cheating on
you, because he is a one–girl type of guy. The sweetheart doesn't rush into a relationship or into
physical closeness. This guy is a good listener and cares about his dating partner's life. You will
find the parents of girls who date this guy tend to always approve of him and even like him
because he is respectful and has good morals as well as good intentions. All

Dance: My First Love Essay
Dance has been a part of human history since the earliest records of human life (Praagh 30). Cave
paintings found in Spain and France from 30,000 –10,000 BC had life–like drawings of dancing
figures participating in rituals. They illustrated the prominence of dance in early human society.
Later in the Renaissance Era a new attitude towards the body, the arts, and dance was originated. The
courts of Italy and France became the center of new developments in dance, providing support to
dancing masters and musicians who created large scale social dances for the acknowledgment of
celebrations and festivities. In the court of Catherine de Medici, the Italian wife of Henry II of
France, the first forms of ballet stemmed from the genius...show more content...
His ballets created a total theater experience and his company's principal dancers included Ana
Pavlov, Claude Debussy, Stravinsky, Pablo Picasso, George Ballanchine and the unique
choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky, specializing in curved body movements and unusual footwork
(Praagh 130). Not long after the revival of ballet, a new style of dance began to rise out of the
women's release from ballet's stylized movements. This new form of dancing emerged valuing free
expression of confined emotions and thoughts (Praagh 131). The pioneers of this new dance were
Isadora Duncan (1877–1927) and Ruth St. Denis (1877–1968). In 1915, St. Denis founded the
Denishawn Company, which became the cradle for the forerunners of American modern dancers,
including Martha Graham, Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman (Praagh 133). Presently, as
dance continues to expand all over the world, many people try to push their way into the business.
Some are in it for the money and others are in it for the pure love of the art form. However, today
with so many talented individuals, the field is limited. It's extremely hard to become a dance
teacher, performer on Broadway, or get into a company, unless a dancer has not only talent but also
connections.

The poem is about the poets first love.
The poem has three stanzas and eight lines in each stanza, there is twenty–four lines altogether. The

In the second line it says, "And took my sight away", this line tells us that he has become blind .
In the third and forth line it says , "The trees and bushes round the place Seemed midnight at

Love From First Sight Essay
Love from First Sight
Is there anyone who did not have "Love" in his life? Love is one the most powerful words that we
could hear and it is an important element in our life. It is the first feeling that you have been treated
by since you were born and opened your eyes. Could you count how many love words that you heard
in your life? I do not believe you can because of how many times it has been said to you by your
parents or relatives. The first people who love in your life are your parents. They loved you
before you were born and they had all that much of love since they loved each other and decided
to have a son or daughter. I lived in a society that did not believe in love before marriage. Even the
marriages had to be in the traditional way. Our society believes that love only comes after
marriage which is something I strongly disagree with. I believe that marriage has to be after a
relationship in which both side feel that they have found the right person. I dreamed many times
to be in love with a woman that can understand me more than myself and knew how I felt. I do not
want to destroy myself because of the criticisms of our society. All the challenges by society
made me think and ask myself if there is anyone that had the same feelings that I had? Was there
anyone who believed in love from first sight in our society? Was it real or was just something of
our imagination? I believe in love from first sight now more than ever. It is real and exists and it
happens

My First Love
My First Love, Yeah, I don't really know what I am doing with myself anymore. When we started
dating I was confused and scared. I pushed you away. I know and I feel horrible about it. I didn't
mean to but I just didn't know how to express my feelings for you and I don't do well with
embarrassment or compliments. And It's easy for me to get embarrassed when someone I like
says something nice to me or about me. Later on I heard that you had done some unfavorable
things to people I was close to and I became conflicted. Then my friend told me that he wished for
me to break up with you. We talk often about me breaking up with you. People thought that I didn't
really love you, to be honest I wasn't really sure if I loved you. Then thanksgiving came around
and I couldn't see you or talk to you everyday, so I wished to see you everyday. Though that didn't
come through because I ignored you. Though it wasn't intentional at first as time passed I was
afraid of answering you because I didn't know what to say. I stopped talking because you insisted
on buying me a Christmas gift. Which is a nice gesture but I didn't want you to buy me anything
because I was fine with just having you. The last day we were together Jaden said you were upset
with me and I understood why I mean I did ignore you that that hurt you so much. But when you
said you would ignore me the rest of the day it made me really upset, Instead of being mature and
ignoring that comment since I knew you weren't going to

The Pain Of First Love Essay
The Pain of First Love First love is something amazing, but it can be a source of unbearable
misery. Love was this amazing new experience that was brought into my life. I knew it would be
hard, but I was not prepared for how hard it actually would be. The tears shed, the anger that filled
my entire body with hate, the depression, the anxiety of not hearing from him, the panic attacks
that would build from these events almost caused me to give up. I did not know what I got
myself into until it was too late. We met in the middle of December, 2015, at the happiest place
on earth "Disney World". I thought he was a nice guy, but I was also in the state of mind of just
wanting someone to love. His name was Stefan. He was tall at 6'1'' with a beard that put five years
upon his actual age of twenty–two. He wore khaki pants with a white collared shirt. He came across
as a rich boy who was privileged. His major of information technology intrigued me. He talked
about how he is good at manipulating people to make deals happen. This should have been the
first red flag. I was caught up in the swiftness of our relationship that happened in the next month.
We became official in the middle of January and would not look back for a second. This was the
beginning of the second red flag. Although we became official, I was not allowed to post anything
on his social media. No pictures, no relationship status, I could not even tag him in a simple funny
post. He claimed that

My First True Love And My Best Friend Essay
Imagine: What if your reason, your motivation for everything in your life was taken from you.
Could you replace it with something stronger, or would you slowly fall apart from reality?
Everyone has or will have one person who impacts their lives immensely without their knowledge,
until they are taken from you. Gage Andrew Leishing: this name may have absolutely no meaning
to you, but to me it has the most significant meaning. I understand you're probably asking, 'How is
this Gage guy important to me." Can you go back in time maybe it wasn't even that long ago,
when you met your first true love? What was it your best friend? Gage was my first true love and
my best friend since I was a young child. I understand most of you don't believe that I could
understand love at such a young age. When it isn't something you see in everyday life, you
remember the most important parts and learn from them. When people pass away most people
can't say they have learned something good from it. Gage has influenced my life in many ways:
taught me how to care about myself, taught the meaning of friendship by listening to me, showed
me courage to stand up for myself, and changed my future by his life choices. Gage understood me
as a person by listening to my problems. When I would get depressed, he would help me understand
my emotions. My family life was not something you would call stable but dysfunctional. There
would be weeks of my parents fighting and little sisters crying, and me feeling

My First Love Taught Me Many Lessons
My first Love taught me many lessons. It taught me what to take from a guy and when it's time
for me to leave. My first time being in love or what I thought what was love opened my third eye
and showed me what the saying "a fool in love'' really means. It helped me discover myself in more
ways than one and how love can really change a person. It changed the way I view men, the way I
view love and how naive I really was. My first love also taught me not to believe everything that
sounds and seems good because even the devil was a beautiful angel at one point and now he is
promised an eternity in hell. Even though love hurt me in every way possible, it taught me
valuable lessons that I can reference to and when I do have the opportunity to put love into
someone else, I will no longer be the " fool in love.''
It was on December 28, 2014 when I met the one that captured my heart. At the time, he was a
breath of fresh air and at that moment, I believed that he was the one. His name was Shon. He
had the typical boyfriend name, the beautiful hazel eyes, the perfect smile, and the charm that
will give you tingles from head to toe. He was my first "true love," my first of many things. Shon
was perfect in every way and anything he said or did mesmerized me. Shon's charms were like
drugs, I couldn't get enough of him, and I overdosed every time. Slowly these effects took a toll
on me and the love that I had for him began to blind me from the reality of who he truly was. I was so

Everyone loves to tell the story of their first love, and the beautiful lesson they learned through the
adventure. You hear the phrase, "you'll never forget your first" as you see a small smirk flourish
across the faces of people who remember their story. Through all the experiences shared, I never
would have believed the result of falling out of love. All of the novels and sweet smiles never hinted
about the time I would end up crumbled down on my bedroom's floor, with two years of a person's
presence surrounding a broken heart. Nobody will speak of watching your first love leave for
college, knowing that they will want to move on. I went through the stages of heartbreak that left
me with a cracked and bruised heart. The recovery and journey of finding acceptance and love for
myself, created a book of my personal lessons. Going back to that summer is like reading the final
book of your favorite series, you soak in the words trying to read slow, savoring. Completing the
series leaves a bitter sweet moment, comparing to the emotions that overcame my mind through the
process of watching him go. However, it was not beautiful and bittersweet as romance novels paint
your first love out to be. Each page in our novel transformed from love to a war zone, as loyalty
became nonexistent, and trust only present in waves. The summer was beautiful, but in my heart I
knew that this novel was only a fairy tale coming to it's end. There was nothing left to be painted.

What is Love? Essay
Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep
worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word paired with a vital meaning. It's universal,
easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search
for it, when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is
the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let
alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed
the beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love?
Love in general could be frightening. Some...show more content...
I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy
focusing on other aspects of your life. This is where fate comes into play. That specific person
was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour
that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world
that think they may never fall in love again. You fall at times, but you get back up. You will love
again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when
you know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing
something else, the love of your life came along.
Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is.
Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch love movies, read romance novels, but that's the
sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have
kids, spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling
in love? Risking everything for that one person? And even when we feel we've reached the end of
the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with
the chance they can break us apart.
Love, as it is with everything,

My tall, soccer player boyfriend laid on his bed in his dimly lit room. The room resembled that of a
12 year old – stuffy, unkempt and lacking any sense of maturity. Why clean a room that mom was
still there to clean, I figured he thought.
I was 16, only days away from turning 17, but when I told this story later on I would say, "I was only
16." He was 17. His walls lined with Manchester United posters while dirty clothes covered most of
his old wooden floor. His room somehow managed to smell both like dirty laundry, and a freshly

That exhilarating word flashed through my head. Sex. My life was about to change forever. This
was my first relationship. My first love. My first time. He had been in another long–term relationship
before dating me. He was... experienced, and he made that abundantly clear.
Slowly but surely our lips met and the night accelerated in a matter of seconds. Kissing turned to
caressing, caressing turned to a different kind of touching, a more intimate kind. Fingers crawling
around in places they'd never been before. Was this supposed to feel good? I remember wondering.
But I didn't want him to see me wondering. He was the experienced one, this should be feeling
good, I should show him how good this feels.
You think your first time is going to be magical– an orgasm like fireworks on the Fourth of July. No
one tells you that so many thoughts cross your mind at once; it's nearly impossible to understand
what's happening. When you're young you think Prince Charming is going to whisk you away to his
castle with the promise of deflowering you in the most affectionate way. You think your mind will
be filled with love and tenderness. But instead your mind trails off – is it in? Should I know? Should
he know? How do I know when it's

My First Crush
One of my first's in my life that has had a lasting impact on me was my first crush. I was in the
sixth grade and I had crush on a boy in the same grade as me his name was Ruben. I had known
him scene we were in third grade. We were in the same third grade class together and were in the
school band together throughout elementary school. However I did not have a crush on him until
we were in sixth grade. My middle school was about three hundred students per grade and each
grade was broken up into teams of three with four teachers on each team. We both were on the
same team, but had different teachers. However, each team eats lunch in the same cafeteria and
period which meant we had lunch together. Like you see in a movie of a stereotypical school
where students are grouped at certain table and that is where you stay. My school did something
similar we almost always sat at the same tables all year round with the same group. Ruben and his
friend group sat at the table right behind ours. At my table was my best friends Eleve and Morgan,
Dasean, and Alex–Drew. Eleve, Morgan had been friends since third grade. Ruben and I also were
in the same middle school band and Drug Abuse Resistance Education class. I don 't really now or
then what made me like him. We were friends at the time and it also could have been just the fact
that he was nice and funny. One day on Eleve and Morgan and I were having a conversation about
boys on the bus to bowling club after school. Eleve had asked

First Love Essay

  • 1. Editing In First Love Editing plays a key role in demonstrating the theme of first love in the two scenes. The first scene we see the editing is slow in the beginning because of the use of long takes. Similar to his use of the camera to show the aimlessness of Sam's life before Suzy the editing also reveals that to the audience. As Sam wanders back stage we follow his gaze as he observes various cast members preparing. The shots are normally over 7 seconds long, until the camera shifts to where Sam is gazing: that is when the shots are shorter than 7 seconds. The audience is forced to focus on Sam and his solitude. That is until he meets Suzy. Decoupage editing is used in this part of the scene to create the connection between him and Suzy. The also interesting Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. The Theme of Love in First Love, My Last Duchess and Remember 'First love', 'My Last Duchess' and 'Remember' all share the theme 'loss of love' which is presented in many different ways. These poems are known to be some of the best love poems of their time, written over a hundred years ago. 'Remember' and 'My Last Duchess,' deal with death as a result of the relationship. The poems are all presented in the first person, which portrays a more dramatic mood as we emphasise with the subject. They are all told/written in a male's point of view, this is interesting because society only expects women to express their emotions towards love. 'Remember' which is written in a female's point of view bring...show more content... Yet the relationship was mythological which ended in rejection and he feeling depressed. "My heart has left its dwelling place, and can return no more." In all these poems the relationships between the poems and their lovers are very similar. In 'First love' the relationship ended after a long chase for a special being, with a sad rejection, "Is loves bed always snow?" This shows that the subject was heartbroken as a result of the ending of his imaginary relationship. Where as in 'My Last Duchess' we are told that the relationship ending with the Dukes last duchess dies. "Her smiling increased: I gave commands and all the smiles stopped Together" this suggests that the duke gave orders to the kill. The duke is left slightly unhappy, this is referred back to the painting yet he is glad that she is gone. "I've made it clear that it is his daughter I want" Showing that he is over his last duchess and is ready to let go and remarry. 'Remember is also a very similar to 'My Last Duchess' there is also a tragic death as the poem prolongs. All these poems use very dramatic language which reaches out to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Essay about Love Love Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently. Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be experienced in many different ways. People experience love for the first time by being part of a family. Family love is demonstrated through lessons of sacrifice, concern and compassion, from the cradle to the grave. There are many different levels and conditions of family love. It is the love we cherish between our intermediate family and our...show more content... A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship between two males, two females, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into love. In no way is it a romantic love, but this type of love connects and bonds friends. Friends may move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever. Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at the beginning, but grows within the individual. When one finally finds the love they have been looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can only imagine what it might be like to be in love. Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a wonderful feeling. To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of love. The only way to capture the true meaning of love is to experience the feeling and find out for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. It is universally acknowledged that the memories of a first love linger throughout a lifetime because they are so powerful and equally unforgettable. As a result of the experiences of a first love, breaking up can be one of the most devastating feelings in the world. In Jane Austen's last book titled Persuasion, Anne and Captain Wentworth enact a classic tale of firstlove. What is unique about Anne and Captain Wentworth is that they did not fall out of love initially or even 8 years later. After eight years of separation, suffering, and suppressed feelings, upon seeing each other again both Anne and Frederick display a series of behaviors that demonstrate their love isn't just a case of the reminders of first love rather true love....show more content... Wentworth causing her "to seek comfort of cool air for her flushed cheeks" (46). This is significant because this is the first time in several years that a Wentworth last name has even been referenced. In response, Anne's cheeks "flush" and she seeks "comfort" in the cold because Captain Wentworth makes her hot and uncomfortable. Although the person being referenced is not, in fact, Captain Wentworth but his brother, Anne, after all these years, is still affected by the mention of the Wentworth name. Like with any first lover, seeing them in public or hearing their name can cause an unexpected stir of emotion and intertwined memories. Because Anne never fell out of love with Captain Wentworth and her love for him was merely hidden away and never resolved, having him in her life again is extremely overwhelming for her. When Captain Wentworth finally arrives in Uppercross, Anne is overcome with love and actively tries to make sense of what has changed since she last saw him, often leading to confusion and contradiction. Anne and her family plan to visit Captain Wentworth, however, Anne stays behind to take care of a young injured relative. She thinks that "she knew herself to be of the first utility to the child; and what was it to her, if Frederick Wentworth were only half a mile distant, making himself agreeable to others!" (110). Instead of focusing her attention on the young boy she instead focuses on the proximity of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Different Types of Love Essay "Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; love is a growing up." –James A. Baldwin. The author, Baldwin talks about the fact that we assume love starts once you meet that person and it ends when you die, but love is everlasting and is a part of you from the very beginning. In his quote he also says that we will face different types of love, while growing up. Films are made about it, books, songs, and poems are written. Artists draw, paint and sculpt from inspiration of it and people spend their entire lives waiting for it. In dictionaries love is defined as a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection but it is more than just a deep connection. Its more than deep connections...show more content... This is why mother sends out more of a warm fuzzy feeling than the father. Family love is the type of love that every human being encounters throughout his or her lifetime. It's the very first and less painful type of love. Parental love isn't the only part of family love. Sibling love is a big part to. Sibling rivalry starts when the second child is born and the 1st child starts to feel alienated and abandoned. Even though siblings are like archenemies, they have the most caring love. Since they are closer through blood, they have the ability to protect each other and fight for each other. Another main type of love is the love that is felt towards friends. This love is felt less when younger because when you are younger you are accompanied more by parental love and attention. But when grown older, parents become busier that the kid will start creating their own bonds and connections with other children their age. This would start a friendship. After people make new friends they start to become more dependent and more trusting until they feel like they are one person with their friend. Having common interests, similar history, common values, and equality draws people to be together as friends. Psychologically when one friend feels pain the other friend feels it because of the bond created between them. In their mind they have automatically "connected" themselves with that person. But friendship is the hardest to find because you're not Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My First Love Essay Having a first love can change your life for the better in so many ways. My first love did that and much more. The best part of it I didn't expect any of it. The first time I was introduced to her I was working at a place called smoothie king. I remember her walking in she was stunning basically, breath taking. I've never seen anyone as gorgeous as her. When she first walked in the first thing I noticed was her long slick hair and a smile of an angel. Her eyes where amazing as a result I would just get lost in them. The crazy part was I've never felt that way for anyone else. I would just get this pulsing rushing feeling throughout my whole body. If someone could actually give me that feeling I knew they were precious. So, I started to talk to her more and I really felt this strong connection forming between us. The more we hanged out the more my life became great. Just being around her and the things, we did I felt my life heading in a direction that was so perfect. Having that feeling that someone appreciates you was so valuable to me. I started to see myself through someone else's eyes wondering what I could do to be a better person. That's exactly what I did. I saw myself being more grateful and understanding. There were also things I've always wanted to do in my life but I could never do because I was either unhappy or didn't have someone to do it with therefore with her I was able to do all of it. She really did change my life for the better and I can't thank her enough. My first love really did make me feel like I wanted to go out and experience the world like I've never have before. Even something so small like going skating was huge for me. Our first date we actually, went skating. That night made me realize even having someone there with you while you do something fun and that you both like is an experience I will never forget and cherish till this day. I was full of joy and excitement of how much bonding we were doing. I was never so giving but I caught myself buying everything that night when I usually wont. We skated for hours trying to impress each other with fancy skate tricks. She made me feel so different but in a good way. I felt like I would absorb all her likings. • 7. Analysis Of Judith Ortiz Cofer 's First Love People change and grow through their experiences and conflicts. For example, just 2 years ago I was a sixth grader. There was a lot more homework than I ever had in my non–accelerated / magnet elementary school. I had to work harder and for longer hours, but as a result, I was much more mature and knowledgeable. I improved my work habits and increased my concentration. In Judith Ortiz Cofer's "First Love", a 14 year old girl is in love with a high school senior. She does everything she can to try to see him more often. At the end, she thinks she learns the true meaning of love. In Richard Wright's "The Street", a boy has to go shopping for food, but he is constantly stopped by a gang who beats him up. At the end, he beats up the gang with a stick his mother gave him because he had to to return home. In both "The Street" by Richard Wright and "First Love" by Judith Ortiz Cofer, the characters start out as shy and naive, but end up as aware and wiser as a result of their respective conflicts. For example, in "First Love", the main character (the author) was very naive. She didn't know much about love, and was lovesick. This is shown in the second paragraph, where she states, "I fell in love, or my hormones awakened from their long slumber in my body, and suddenly the goal of my days was focused on one thing: to catch a glimpse of my secret love." This shows she was lovesick because her only goal changed from school to love. She is naive due to the fact that her priorities are Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Essay on My First Love-Personal Narrative My First Love–Personal Narrative I once jumped off a two–story building just to prove how much I adored a girl. At the early age of eight, I have to admit that I was already a kid full of hormones. I have always known that I am attracted to the opposite sex. I love being around them, but I was always too shy to express my feelings towards them. Sandra was the kind of girl that any guy would fall in love with the minut he laid his eyes on her. Like a goddess, she had long silky hair, big sparkling eyes, and the most luscious lips. The first time I saw Sandra was on the first day of my first grade. I was immediately attracted to her. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen at that point of my life. I knew right at that...show more content... I immediately called for God and I begged the Almighty to have Sandra sit next to me. When I heard Sandra and my name in the same sentence, I knew in that moment that God answered my prayer. Sandra and I were both voted to be the class president by popular votes. I am very shy. Yet, I have this personality or look that just attracts people to their liking. Sandra was also very popular mainly due to her beauty. Because it was a close race, the teacher decided that Sandra and I should both be the class president. The class president's duty was to keep the class in an orderly manner whenever the teacher was not around. We would hear students' complaints about other students and help keep the peace in the class. Because of the seating situation and our shared responsibilities as peace officers, Sandra and I got to be very close. However, we were only best friend and nothing more. I never told Sandra how I felt about her but I think she figured it out somehow. I also had a friend named Nick who was also attracted to Sandra. Nick and I never had a problem both liking the same girl. We often goofed around and told each other what we would do if Sandra were to be with one of us. Although Nick was better looking than I was, that did not stop me from giving up. I knew I had to find a way to tell Sandra how I felt about her even if she already sensed it. One day while playing on the roof of our classroom as we often did, Sandra commented that a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Heartbreaker vrs. Sweetheart Essay Heartbreaker vrs. Sweetheart From my dating experiences in the past, I have come to realize that of all the different guys that there are two main types. The first one I call the heartbreaker and the other is the sweetheart. This observation, that I have made, is not based on appearance, and it is mostly based on my own opinion. When I was in high school I dated the football star, who was the most popular guy in school, and I thought it was the best thing that could happen... until I got to know him. This guy was very possessive, controlling, and extremely cocky. He was a heartbreaker type and luckily enough, I realized that before it was too late! The typical heartbreaker type is usually a very aggressive, selfish person. He...show more content... Many of theses guys are scared of getting hurt, themselves, so they feel as if they're being protective of themselves from being hurt by avoiding any kind of emotional attachment with a female. These guys will also have low self esteems, but they hide this by pretending they love who they are, and acting conceited. This in turn forces them to put others down to boost themselves up. This heartbreaker guy is not respectful of the girls he dates. Some of these guys think of girls as being just another name on their list of sexual accomplishments. I always try to avoid this kind of guy, but sometimes it's hard to spot them out because they are very manipulative and deceitful. Not all guys fall into that category, though. I have a loving boyfriend who is never selfish, hateful, or uncaring. He is very trustworthy and I can count on him as my best friend as well as my partner in our relationship. He is the kind of guy I call the sweetheart. This caring individual is honest, passive, gentle, and most always trustworthy. You don't have to worry about this guy cheating on you, because he is a one–girl type of guy. The sweetheart doesn't rush into a relationship or into physical closeness. This guy is a good listener and cares about his dating partner's life. You will find the parents of girls who date this guy tend to always approve of him and even like him because he is respectful and has good morals as well as good intentions. • 10. Dance: My First Love Essay Dance has been a part of human history since the earliest records of human life (Praagh 30). Cave paintings found in Spain and France from 30,000 –10,000 BC had life–like drawings of dancing figures participating in rituals. They illustrated the prominence of dance in early human society. Later in the Renaissance Era a new attitude towards the body, the arts, and dance was originated. The courts of Italy and France became the center of new developments in dance, providing support to dancing masters and musicians who created large scale social dances for the acknowledgment of celebrations and festivities. In the court of Catherine de Medici, the Italian wife of Henry II of France, the first forms of ballet stemmed from the genius...show more content... His ballets created a total theater experience and his company's principal dancers included Ana Pavlov, Claude Debussy, Stravinsky, Pablo Picasso, George Ballanchine and the unique choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky, specializing in curved body movements and unusual footwork (Praagh 130). Not long after the revival of ballet, a new style of dance began to rise out of the women's release from ballet's stylized movements. This new form of dancing emerged valuing free expression of confined emotions and thoughts (Praagh 131). The pioneers of this new dance were Isadora Duncan (1877–1927) and Ruth St. Denis (1877–1968). In 1915, St. Denis founded the Denishawn Company, which became the cradle for the forerunners of American modern dancers, including Martha Graham, Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman (Praagh 133). Presently, as dance continues to expand all over the world, many people try to push their way into the business. Some are in it for the money and others are in it for the pure love of the art form. However, today with so many talented individuals, the field is limited. It's extremely hard to become a dance teacher, performer on Broadway, or get into a company, unless a dancer has not only talent but also connections. • 13. Love From First Sight Essay Love from First Sight Is there anyone who did not have "Love" in his life? Love is one the most powerful words that we could hear and it is an important element in our life. It is the first feeling that you have been treated by since you were born and opened your eyes. Could you count how many love words that you heard in your life? I do not believe you can because of how many times it has been said to you by your parents or relatives. The first people who love in your life are your parents. They loved you before you were born and they had all that much of love since they loved each other and decided to have a son or daughter. I lived in a society that did not believe in love before marriage. Even the marriages had to be in the traditional way. Our society believes that love only comes after marriage which is something I strongly disagree with. I believe that marriage has to be after a relationship in which both side feel that they have found the right person. I dreamed many times to be in love with a woman that can understand me more than myself and knew how I felt. I do not want to destroy myself because of the criticisms of our society. All the challenges by society made me think and ask myself if there is anyone that had the same feelings that I had? Was there anyone who believed in love from first sight in our society? Was it real or was just something of our imagination? I believe in love from first sight now more than ever. It is real and exists and it happens Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. My First Love My First Love, Yeah, I don't really know what I am doing with myself anymore. When we started dating I was confused and scared. I pushed you away. I know and I feel horrible about it. I didn't mean to but I just didn't know how to express my feelings for you and I don't do well with embarrassment or compliments. And It's easy for me to get embarrassed when someone I like says something nice to me or about me. Later on I heard that you had done some unfavorable things to people I was close to and I became conflicted. Then my friend told me that he wished for me to break up with you. We talk often about me breaking up with you. People thought that I didn't really love you, to be honest I wasn't really sure if I loved you. Then thanksgiving came around and I couldn't see you or talk to you everyday, so I wished to see you everyday. Though that didn't come through because I ignored you. Though it wasn't intentional at first as time passed I was afraid of answering you because I didn't know what to say. I stopped talking because you insisted on buying me a Christmas gift. Which is a nice gesture but I didn't want you to buy me anything because I was fine with just having you. The last day we were together Jaden said you were upset with me and I understood why I mean I did ignore you that that hurt you so much. But when you said you would ignore me the rest of the day it made me really upset, Instead of being mature and ignoring that comment since I knew you weren't going to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. The Pain Of First Love Essay The Pain of First Love First love is something amazing, but it can be a source of unbearable misery. Love was this amazing new experience that was brought into my life. I knew it would be hard, but I was not prepared for how hard it actually would be. The tears shed, the anger that filled my entire body with hate, the depression, the anxiety of not hearing from him, the panic attacks that would build from these events almost caused me to give up. I did not know what I got myself into until it was too late. We met in the middle of December, 2015, at the happiest place on earth "Disney World". I thought he was a nice guy, but I was also in the state of mind of just wanting someone to love. His name was Stefan. He was tall at 6'1'' with a beard that put five years upon his actual age of twenty–two. He wore khaki pants with a white collared shirt. He came across as a rich boy who was privileged. His major of information technology intrigued me. He talked about how he is good at manipulating people to make deals happen. This should have been the first red flag. I was caught up in the swiftness of our relationship that happened in the next month. We became official in the middle of January and would not look back for a second. This was the beginning of the second red flag. Although we became official, I was not allowed to post anything on his social media. No pictures, no relationship status, I could not even tag him in a simple funny post. He claimed that Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. My First True Love And My Best Friend Essay Imagine: What if your reason, your motivation for everything in your life was taken from you. Could you replace it with something stronger, or would you slowly fall apart from reality? Everyone has or will have one person who impacts their lives immensely without their knowledge, until they are taken from you. Gage Andrew Leishing: this name may have absolutely no meaning to you, but to me it has the most significant meaning. I understand you're probably asking, 'How is this Gage guy important to me." Can you go back in time maybe it wasn't even that long ago, when you met your first true love? What was it your best friend? Gage was my first true love and my best friend since I was a young child. I understand most of you don't believe that I could understand love at such a young age. When it isn't something you see in everyday life, you remember the most important parts and learn from them. When people pass away most people can't say they have learned something good from it. Gage has influenced my life in many ways: taught me how to care about myself, taught the meaning of friendship by listening to me, showed me courage to stand up for myself, and changed my future by his life choices. Gage understood me as a person by listening to my problems. When I would get depressed, he would help me understand my emotions. My family life was not something you would call stable but dysfunctional. There would be weeks of my parents fighting and little sisters crying, and me feeling Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. My First Love Taught Me Many Lessons My first Love taught me many lessons. It taught me what to take from a guy and when it's time for me to leave. My first time being in love or what I thought what was love opened my third eye and showed me what the saying "a fool in love'' really means. It helped me discover myself in more ways than one and how love can really change a person. It changed the way I view men, the way I view love and how naive I really was. My first love also taught me not to believe everything that sounds and seems good because even the devil was a beautiful angel at one point and now he is promised an eternity in hell. Even though love hurt me in every way possible, it taught me valuable lessons that I can reference to and when I do have the opportunity to put love into someone else, I will no longer be the " fool in love.'' It was on December 28, 2014 when I met the one that captured my heart. At the time, he was a breath of fresh air and at that moment, I believed that he was the one. His name was Shon. He had the typical boyfriend name, the beautiful hazel eyes, the perfect smile, and the charm that will give you tingles from head to toe. He was my first "true love," my first of many things. Shon was perfect in every way and anything he said or did mesmerized me. Shon's charms were like drugs, I couldn't get enough of him, and I overdosed every time. Slowly these effects took a toll on me and the love that I had for him began to blind me from the reality of who he truly was. I was so Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. My First Love Essay Everyone loves to tell the story of their first love, and the beautiful lesson they learned through the adventure. You hear the phrase, "you'll never forget your first" as you see a small smirk flourish across the faces of people who remember their story. Through all the experiences shared, I never would have believed the result of falling out of love. All of the novels and sweet smiles never hinted about the time I would end up crumbled down on my bedroom's floor, with two years of a person's presence surrounding a broken heart. Nobody will speak of watching your first love leave for college, knowing that they will want to move on. I went through the stages of heartbreak that left me with a cracked and bruised heart. The recovery and journey of finding acceptance and love for myself, created a book of my personal lessons. Going back to that summer is like reading the final book of your favorite series, you soak in the words trying to read slow, savoring. Completing the series leaves a bitter sweet moment, comparing to the emotions that overcame my mind through the process of watching him go. However, it was not beautiful and bittersweet as romance novels paint your first love out to be. Each page in our novel transformed from love to a war zone, as loyalty became nonexistent, and trust only present in waves. The summer was beautiful, but in my heart I knew that this novel was only a fairy tale coming to it's end. There was nothing left to be painted. That hot and humid Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. What is Love? Essay Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word paired with a vital meaning. It's universal, easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search for it, when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed the beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love? Love in general could be frightening. Some...show more content... I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy focusing on other aspects of your life. This is where fate comes into play. That specific person was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world that think they may never fall in love again. You fall at times, but you get back up. You will love again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when you know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing something else, the love of your life came along. Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is. Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch love movies, read romance novels, but that's the sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have kids, spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling in love? Risking everything for that one person? And even when we feel we've reached the end of the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with the chance they can break us apart. Love, as it is with everything, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Descriptive Essay About My First Love It was early in September, still warm out but autumn was just around the corner. Today was an exciting day, because tonight would be an exciting night. Tonight would finally be the night. I was ready... right? My tall, soccer player boyfriend laid on his bed in his dimly lit room. The room resembled that of a 12 year old – stuffy, unkempt and lacking any sense of maturity. Why clean a room that mom was still there to clean, I figured he thought. I was 16, only days away from turning 17, but when I told this story later on I would say, "I was only 16." He was 17. His walls lined with Manchester United posters while dirty clothes covered most of his old wooden floor. His room somehow managed to smell both like dirty laundry, and a freshly showered...show more content... That exhilarating word flashed through my head. Sex. My life was about to change forever. This was my first relationship. My first love. My first time. He had been in another long–term relationship before dating me. He was... experienced, and he made that abundantly clear. Slowly but surely our lips met and the night accelerated in a matter of seconds. Kissing turned to caressing, caressing turned to a different kind of touching, a more intimate kind. Fingers crawling around in places they'd never been before. Was this supposed to feel good? I remember wondering. But I didn't want him to see me wondering. He was the experienced one, this should be feeling good, I should show him how good this feels. You think your first time is going to be magical– an orgasm like fireworks on the Fourth of July. No one tells you that so many thoughts cross your mind at once; it's nearly impossible to understand what's happening. When you're young you think Prince Charming is going to whisk you away to his castle with the promise of deflowering you in the most affectionate way. You think your mind will be filled with love and tenderness. But instead your mind trails off – is it in? Should I know? Should he know? How do I know when it's Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 21. My First Crush One of my first's in my life that has had a lasting impact on me was my first crush. I was in the sixth grade and I had crush on a boy in the same grade as me his name was Ruben. I had known him scene we were in third grade. We were in the same third grade class together and were in the school band together throughout elementary school. However I did not have a crush on him until we were in sixth grade. My middle school was about three hundred students per grade and each grade was broken up into teams of three with four teachers on each team. We both were on the same team, but had different teachers. However, each team eats lunch in the same cafeteria and period which meant we had lunch together. Like you see in a movie of a stereotypical school where students are grouped at certain table and that is where you stay. My school did something similar we almost always sat at the same tables all year round with the same group. Ruben and his friend group sat at the table right behind ours. At my table was my best friends Eleve and Morgan, Dasean, and Alex–Drew. Eleve, Morgan had been friends since third grade. Ruben and I also were in the same middle school band and Drug Abuse Resistance Education class. I don 't really now or then what made me like him. We were friends at the time and it also could have been just the fact that he was nice and funny. One day on Eleve and Morgan and I were having a conversation about boys on the bus to bowling club after school. Eleve had asked Get more content on HelpWriting.net
