This seminar presentation describes the design of a fire-fighting robot that can detect and extinguish fires automatically or manually. In this we have made a line follower robot which follows a fixed path for its working and it mainly carry/lift heavy or harmful materials from one place to another in an industry. The robot no only carries materials but it also distinguishes between different materials based on their color or weight and then follows a proper path for stacking them differently in a proper manner.

The stick detects nearby objects using ultrasonic sensors and notifies the user via voice commands from a playback module. It determines distances to nearby objects and warns the user if objects are close through different voice alerts. The stick is powered by an Arduino microcontroller and includes additional sensors, displays, and circuits to accurately detect obstacles and assist blind users in walking confidently without needing assistance from others. The goal is to help overcome challenges faced by blind people through an improved walking stick that provides object detection and distance information.

360 Degree Automated Fire Fighting Robotic Platform

IOT-BASED HAZARDOUS GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION
1) The document describes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system for detecting hazardous gas leakage.
2) The system uses an Arduino microcontroller connected to an MQ5 gas sensor to detect gases like hydrogen, LPG, methane, carbon monoxide, and alcohol.
3) When gas is detected, the system sounds an alarm with a buzzer, displays the gas concentration on an LCD screen, and alerts personnel to take safety measures like turning on exhaust fans.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
