CHAPTER I : About the Author
5. It was difficult for me to begin my adventure here at Our Lady of Fatima
University, but I do not feel alone. I have made many friends, and even if it is
difficult to strike up a discussion with them, I still try. When I ask them an
academic query, they always support and advise me. When I first started
studying at OLFU, everything was completely different: new students, new
surroundings, new lecturers, practically everything was unrecognizable. I recall
that on the first day of each of our sessions, we had to introduce ourselves. It was
difficult for me, of course, because I can't communicate much because I'm still
adjusting to my new surroundings. When I have a lot of work to do, I become
stressed out, but I'm still glad because I'm able to manage and do everything.
The professors were really friendly and helpful. Academically, everything was
going well; I got academic prizes in several disciplines, and my overall grade
point average is still around 9. Being a senior high school student at OLFU
helped me realize something and improve as a person and a student. Many
students in the midst of the pandemic are very difficult; there were nights when
you were trying to finish our schoolwork activities but there were a lot of things
that you needed to do at your house; this situation helped me improve myself to
balance schools and my personal life, and it helped me grow.

6. CHAPTER III: My Future Profession on Progress
About the Course (WRCC)
Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for SHS completion. A
Senior High School student must complete work immersion in an industry that
is closely relevant to the student's post-secondary goal. Work Immersion
exposes students to and familiarizes them with the work-related environment
relating to their field of specialization, allowing them to increase their
proficiency. Work immersion will help students acquire life and career skills, as
well as prepare them to make postsecondary education or work decisions.
The DepEd anticipates that through forging collaborations, Partner Institutions
will be able to provide learners with work immersion opportunities, hands-on
experience, and additional learning resources. Its goal is for students to
understand the significance and application of the ideas and theories they have
studied in school, to improve their technical knowledge and abilities, to improve
their communication and human relations skills, and to develop appropriate
work habits, attitudes, and behaviors.
7. Summary of your experience with the course
This course was a fantastic learning experience since it successfully taught me the
fundamentals of being an employee. I learned how to create a resume, bio data, and
curriculum vitae, which is a valuable skill because these documents are required when
applying for jobs. I also acquired a lot of talents and attributes that an employee
should have. It was also a terrific experience for me since I was able to practice having
a job interview and wearing professional clothes, and I felt like I was just a few steps
away from being an employee. I feel that my experiences in this course prepared me
for a job in college or in the future since it taught me basic skills, ethics, and traits that
an employee should have.
27. CHAPTER IV: Balancing The Journey
What's HOT?
Work Immersion, Research, Career Advocacy, and Culminating
Activity at Our Lady of Fatima University provided me with a variety
of abilities. Having the chance to study these things is incredibly
essential to me, and I feel it will be very useful in my difficulties. As a
result, I feel that having this type of lecture will assist me in
determining what I want to pursue in college and finalizing my plans.
In addition, I learned a lot about many types of careers that I may
pursue in the future, and even though I attended this school online,
my time there gave me confidence in being a wonderful employee in
the future. My instructor is also really nice and teaches each session
very well, and the school is quite flexible, so my time at OLFU has
been wonderful.
28. What's NOT?
Because of the pandemic, the entire time at Our Lady of Fatima
University, involving the work immersion, was performed online,
which is a bit of a disadvantage because I haven't had an actual work
immersion where I could witness the nature of people's job face to
face. I also learned far better in a face-to-face format, and while I did
suffer some exhaustion in an online class setting, I was able to
acclimate to the shift in the end.
29. CHAPTER V: The Big Impact
This track's lessons and webinars have had a significant influence on
me as a student and potential employer. This course taught me more
about myself, the type of employee I am, and the professional cluster
to which I belong. These earlier webinars marketing other courses let
me realize how much I love architecture at the start of my job
immersion because I couldn't choose any other courses. As a result,
the only decision I've made is to stay inspired and motivated until I
attain my goal.I'm eager to put in the time and work required to
pursue my dream job of Architecture. In general, I can say that this
training helped me become much more confidence in my own talents,
as well as enhance my communication skills and work ethic.
