List activities you hate to do. (Sometimes we are taught not to hate anything, so
think of activities that feel uncomfortable or unnatural, drain your energy, make time
drag, lack intrinsic meaning, etc.) Try to get at least 20, even if it is difficult. Think of it
as an opportunity to vent. Note which quality or qualities are absent from the
things you hate to do.
List at least 20 qualities you love to do. (These are activities that are effortless and
enjoyable, are especially meaningful, make you feel good about yourself, feel natural,
make time fly.) Have fun with this. Note which quality or qualities you get from
