unanticipated contingencies, and both short and long-term goals. 
10. Other duties as assigned.
Key job qualifications for financial counselor 
1. 1-2 years demonstrated knowledge of healthcare billing and third party 
payer requirements. Experience in a hospital or clinic environment working 
with third party payers, billing, and medical terminology preferred 
2. EPIC registration experience preferred 
3. Excellent Microsoft excel and work skills 
4. Previous customer service background required 
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to handle multiple 
priorities/tasks and to follow-up through to completion 
6. Must be committed to continuous improvement, accountability and 
customer service

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
