The 2014 Wood County Project Connect event served 298 adults and children, exceeding its goal of 200-300 individuals. 53 service providers participated, also exceeding the goal of 40-50 providers. Most guests were not currently homeless, but faced challenges maintaining housing due to financial obligations, mental illness, or physical disability. The majority received income from Social Security or employment and utilized benefits like medical assistance and SNAP. Guests reported needs including housing assistance, healthcare, food/clothing, and employment services. Overall, guests reported being satisfied with the event and receiving the help they sought.
