This document provides a final report on Project Connect, an event held in Wood County, Ohio on October 14, 2015 to provide services to homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness. The goals of the event were to serve 200-300 people, gather data on needs and service gaps, host 50 service providers offering various services like food, healthcare, housing assistance, and more, recruit 350 volunteers, increase provider collaboration, and raise community awareness of homelessness issues. Over 300 guests received services from 44 providers. Volunteers and providers found the event helpful in connecting people to resources. Data collected will help inform future efforts to address homelessness in the community.
