Overall, our initial research into broadcast conventions was helpful, and we focused on engaging our audience.

- Males had little interest in sports or normal updates and preferred celebrity-focused news stories
- Older people preferred slightly longer 4-5 minute bulletins and listened to news more intentionally than younger people
- The survey showed a preference for local/regional news over international news across all age groups.
Target audiences in media
