A 17-year-old teenager named Jackson is on vacation in the UK when he starts receiving disturbing messages from an unknown person called "User" on his laptop. User claims that Jackson made something happen and is at fault. Jackson investigates a shoe he finds in the garden but then receives an image message of his best friend bound and with a knife to his neck. When Jackson accepts a call on his laptop, he witnesses his friend being murdered. Jackson finds his friend's body in the garden with the cause of death being a slit throat. The killer is then shown walking behind Jackson with a bloody knife.
