A school recycling program collected 2,368 Christmas cards this year. Beth Etches from 7ECW placed first by recycling 146 cards, and Emily Cordle from 7EBN placed second with 109 cards recycled. The recycled cards were given to a store that will plant a tree for every 1,000 cards, so the school contributed to 10,000 new trees being planted across the UK.
