 The learners will draw, label and state the functions of each body organs.

 The learners shall be able to identify the major organs of the body, identify it’s function and know the proper
caring of their body.

At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
 Describe the main function of the major organs.

organs are important?

 Why do you think it is
important?
 Okay to survive and to stay
alive.
 To survive and reproduce,
the human body relies on
major internal body organs
to perform certain vital
functions.
 In the human body, there
are five vital organs that
people need to stay alive.
They work together to
ensure that the body is
functioning well.
 If there is a problem in any
of these it can be life
threatening.
 First,we have the BRAIN.
 The brain is found in the
head protected by the
skull.
 It is our control center. it
controls our memory,
thought and other organs.
 Can you live without a
brain?
 Okay no, A man will
possibly die if his brain is
damaged.
 Second is the HEART.
 Yes Ma’am
 “For us to survive.”


 It is a hollow muscular
organ protected by the
chest cavity.It pumps blood
around the body.
 What helps you breath?
 Yes, Our third one is the
LUNGS.
 The lungs role is to transfer
the oxygen into the blood
supply and for breathing. It
works to exchange oxygen
and carbon dioxide.
 Fourth is the LIVER.
 It is the most important
organ in the metabolic
system.
It is the second largest
organ in the human
body.The liver filters out
harmful substances known
as toxins.
 And the fifth is the
KIDNEYS.

role of the kidney to our

waste to the urine and then
return the filtered blood to
the body through the renal
vein.

Specific Objective: At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:  Describe the main function of the major organs.  Learn how to take good care the organs of our body. Procedure A. Review or Presentation of New Lesson: Teacher Students Remarks ELICIT:  Prayer  Remind the students about classroom rules.  Checking of attendance.  Teacher communicates the objective of today’s lesson.  Classroom management and recall of the previous lesson.  Review  “Good morning, Class...” I am teacher Floriza,your Science teacher."  “Let us pray first...”  (Checking of Attendance)  “So, how’s your day class? EXPLAIN:  Do you think this body organs are important?  Correct. it is important.  Why do you think it is important?  Okay to survive and to stay alive.  To survive and reproduce, the human body relies on major internal body organs to perform certain vital functions.  In the human body, there are five vital organs that people need to stay alive. They work together to ensure that the body is functioning well.  If there is a problem in any of these it can be life threatening.  First,we have the BRAIN.  The brain is found in the head protected by the skull.  It is our control center. it controls our memory, thought and other organs.  Can you live without a brain?  Okay no, A man will possibly die if his brain is damaged.  Second is the HEART.  Yes Ma’am  “For us to survive.”  No po. 
  • 6.  It is a hollow muscular organ protected by the chest cavity.It pumps blood around the body.  What helps you breath?  Yes, Our third one is the LUNGS.  The lungs role is to transfer the oxygen into the blood supply and for breathing. It works to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.  Fourth is the LIVER.  It is the most important organ in the metabolic system. It is the second largest organ in the human body.The liver filters out harmful substances known as toxins.  And the fifth is the KIDNEYS.  What do you think is the role of the kidney to our body?  Okay thank you Calvin.  the kidneys help filter waste to the urine and then return the filtered blood to the body through the renal vein.  Now I have a video that I want you to watch to know more about the importance of our body organs. https://youtu.be/y5rita8a9_E  Our lungs.  “for urinating po Ma’am!?”  (The students will watch the video quietly)
